) lol No, I will not be putting earbuds on my belly. Baby can hear the outside sounds just fine without them . I don't play any music FOR my baby, but I listen to a wide variety. Just stuff I like mostly.

We put an earbud inside my belly button and play music at a quiet volume. Just music we listen to - Arcade Fire, Metric, Future Islands, stuff like that. Though we did play some Ludovico Einaudi for him, too. I have read that you shouldn't play things that are too up-tempo, because it can increase their heart rate.

LOL - you're very helpful. I hadn't thought about listening to music FOR myself too. Thank you for the insight.
I figure he's going to have to listen to what I like when he's out, so I'm not playing anything special just for him. I play 60's music in my lab while my students work, so he's hearing a lot of oldies. The car is mostly pop music or NPR.
Re: Womb Tunes
Jk... I haven't played anything for LO yet but we'll likely go with classical or calm music.
