Thoughts Please?

May I have some? :)

My uncle is on his last days, we just got a phone call that hospice was called in.  He has cancer ALL over. I mean, almost every part of him.  He refused treatments 2 months ago because they said it would just prolong life by a little bit, so he refused and said "there's no point".   He is just 50 years old.  (no children, with wife).

My mother has 5 siblings and this will be the first she's ever lost.  He started going downhill this week, organs are starting to fail.  Yesterday he stopped eating, so it's been 24 hours with no food or water.  The hospital said they won't take him on, as it's just prolonging more and there's nothing they can really do anymore.  So they just called hospice, and it's likely to be pretty soon.

I'm not extremely close with him- sometimes 6-8 years go by without seeing him.  But I'm pretty sad my grandparents will lose a son at 50, and my mom and her siblings.

If you could just shoot some thoughts for my family, I would love that.  And if he's meant to go now, that it's pretty quick (as he's in pain from various cancers- especially stomach) .. I'd appreciate that. Thanks :x
