So we are starting to try... We haven't been trying long, only since February but we went into this knowing the odds are stacked against us.

DH: His doctor gave him testosterone injections for 10 years due to low T, so we have no little swimmers. But we were able to locate a RE for him and they Rx clomid! I thought it was amazingly cool that we could take a pill and possibly reverse sterility. He was just recently tested and still has Low T, Current level was 130. I don't know if that means we have sperm production or not. Our next RE appointment is in August. We have a new medicine now. He was given chorionic gonadatropin to inject twice a week to help elevate the testosterone levels, support natural sperm production. He is getting blood work done in 2 weeks to see the response to the shots, but SA isn't until August. Please send positive thoughts. <3

Me: Well, I feel old and over weight but I think the old part is just society telling me that 35 is too old to start having kids. Anyone with that attitude and keep it to themselves. There is enough negativity in this world. I have barely controlled thyroid issues. Other then that I think everything is a go for TTC.

Does anyone know if there is sperm production with the T score is 130?

Also does anyone know how to make the siggy work?

    Hi and welcome!  35 is definitely not too old to be TTC.  FX for elevated testosterone levels for your  H.  Good luck!

    Thank you. :) I hope it works. We will most likely have to wait until Oct before we have any sperm.

    9/2014 And now adding hypothyroid to the list- Started synthroid 9/2014
    Cycles 1-4 - Sept.-March- All Anovulatory 
    IUI #1 March/April-  Clomid 50mg + Clomid 100mg +Trigger + IUI #1 = BFN
     IUI #2 April/May-Clomid 100mg + Clomid 150mg + Trigger + IUI #2 + Endometrin=BFN
    IUI #3- June- Follistim 75iu + Trigger + IUI #3  Benched due to a 40 mm cyst. :-(

    Slowly rising betas - Ectopic suspected on 8/8/14 & confirmed on 8/11/14
    Methotrexate on 8/12/14 -HCG negative on 9/2/14
    IVF #1- November- Antagonist protocol: 11/1: start stims, 200iu of Follistim; 11/12 ER 17R/14M/14F; 11/17 5 day transfer of two blasts, 2 blasts and 2 expanding morulas frozen; 11/22 BFP!! (On FRER at 5dp5dt)
    Betas: 9dp5dt 205, 11dp5dt 497, 14dp5dt 1,709
    u/s at 5w0d- 1 sac; u/s at 6w0d 1 baby with heartbeat, another sac without a heartbeat

    35 isn't to old to have kids. Many people are getting married later and having kids later.

    Welcome! 35 is an awesome time to TTC. :)

    My DH just found out he has low-ish T and is taking HCG shots (yay, I finally get to shoot him in the butt to pay back for all the injections he's given me for Crohn's, lol!). I think it's really cool how the doctor explained the way it works.

    Good luck! It will be awesome to hear about the SA results in August. So exciting!
