Is anyone else having trouble feeling baby kicks from the outside??? LO has been having a dance party in there, but any time I go to touch in the place I feel kicks, she stops!!!! Any tips on how to catch these sneaky movers???
No tips but I'm having the same issue. The last two nights LO has decided to have parties around 9 p.m. (we will have to fix that lol) but as soon as I put my hand he stops I want so bad for DH to feel him but the little sneaker stops every time...ugh.
I can definitely relate! LO has been moving around a lot, but when I put my hand on my bump to feel him he stops. This morning he was moving like crazy at around 5 am and I actually felt him kick my hand a couple of times- so cool. As @FhSTAR81 says, soon we'll be feeling them like crazy
I was blasting Queen in my car the other day and both me and DH were belting out all the lyrics and guitar parts at the top of our lungs....LO was kicking me like CRAZY - almost like the stereotype of the old lady in the downstairs apartment hitting her ceiling with the broom for the youngin's upstairs to turn the music down! :-P Still not feeling him/her from the outside, though...soon enough, I'm sure! I'll get my music ready

I can't seem to feel anything from the outside either. I feel lots of kicking, punching, and head butting, but when I put mine or DH's hand where I'm feeling it, neither of us feel it from the outside. I'm sure we'll feel it soon, but for now it sucks.
This little guy is always kicking! I thought since I'm a big girl I would not be able to feel kicks so much by now let alone on the outside, but SO and dd have both felt little dude move. Cracks Me up when they feel him. They both get so excited! But they get lucky cause usually he stops the moment they out a hand down lol
I feel kicks on the inside more often than outside, but if I rest my hand lightly on my stomach, I can catch on the outside too...mostly when I'm laying down.
When my little man kicks he kicks hard, gotta say though I love it! I feel him moving around and squirming inside(: but only his kicks and jabs I feel on the outside. I can only feel him in the morning and night, how about you guys?
I feel like he's moving further down, not right by the surface. I feel him moving inside constantly. He is constantly kicking my butt, literally! I feel like his foot is going to be out my butt one day!! I keep thinking, "OMG do I finally have to poop!? Wait, nope, just baby again. If I lay my hand down I can feel him every now and then.
I'm starting to feel her more and more each day. I must also have a little night owl because she tends to wait until I'm getting ready to lay down to sleep to start the party lol
Baby Liam is either going to be a ninja or a soccer player. He kicks like crazy, but since he is breech, it is so low. Ryan has only been able to feel him kick one single time. Liam seems to move in spurts - he'll be super kicky and jabby for 2-3 days, then he chills for 2-3 days and I just feel occasional wiggles or a single kick. Nothing I do will make him kick. I think he is like me - I'm very much a "Don't tell me what to do!" kind of person. Heh. The ultrasound tech even tried getting him to turn at our a/s, and he refused. She said that he just wouldn't do what she wanted. Oh, boy...
I have another ninja/soccer player! My little boy stops kicking when I put my hand on him too. However, I've noticed that even if I don't touch him, he'll stop kicking after a few seconds anyway, so I don't think it really has anything to do with the touching at all--he's just done kicking there! It is frustrating when you want SO to feel the baby and the darn thing just won't keep moving long enough. As PP said, it will get more consistent!

I'm almost 22 weeks and still haven't felt any kicks.
I feel some "tickling" in there sometimes which I assume is movement but never felt anything on the outside
