LO is getting to be a pretty confident walker, and is becoming less happy about being carried at times. I'm happy to let him walk, but how in the world do you get him to go where you want? Or ... I don't? Holding his hand is fine until he gets distracted by something and squirms free to go off wherever to check out things. It's all well and good when I have plenty of time, but 9/10 times I have to pick him up and redirect him back on course, and of course he goes all limp fish on me and then heads off back in the opposite direciton ...
Anyway - I'm pretty sure that there is not easy answer to this (because I think kiddos will only walk where they want to ... much like cats), but I figured I'd ask anyway ... how in the world do you get LOs to go where you want them to?
