So i would take a before and after, but since I was on an airplane they are already swollen. I will say that my ankles are usually very thin, but this picture was after a 4 hour concert. It's scary how bad they got! Brace yourself.
**Edited: tried to delete one photo, but can't, so quit trying**
Oh my gosh that looks so painful ladies, so sorry you're dealing with it. The only part of me that is swollen is right above my pubic bone (midwife says that's due to pressure from the baby's head being down low already), and y'all don't want want pictures of that
I'm sorry everyone. . It hasn't happened yet but did to me last time starting around 35 weeks. I clearly remember cheering when I could wear and also put on shoes by myself post partum.
I've noticed my sneakers are tight, and I've given up on real shoes. I notice swelling if I sit with my legs down or if I stand in one place for a while, but chasing DS, and the pool are helping to keep the swelling down.
I wish I had a before picture. Ask my doctor again if this was normal. She said they are fine, but it is driving my crazy! They are red/pink from all the extra blood!
hahah I just call them the pork chops. They don't hurt, they are just ugly. Sometimes I pretend they are painful so my H will walk the dogs , but they aren't bad.
No pics, but I can't wear shoes for too long, only flip flops. And my wedding rings/engagement ring officially came off on Saturday and are now hanging around my neck. I already had wide feet and fat chubby little fingers so now it's even funnier looking.
Has anyone tried compression socks? I'm wearing a pair today for the first time. My lower legs swell from sitting at my desk all day. They were a bitch to put on (because they are so snug and belly is really big), but they are actually really comfortable and breathable. Around this time is usually when I start to feel my legs throbbing and so far so good.
Yes I have compression socks. They use to work great, but now my feet don't fully go down at night. I also elevate my feet. It helps, but they just swell up so fast now that I can't really do anything about it.
I just refer to them as my dinosaur feet...no ankles, just craziness. The top of my left foot actually hurts most of the time, I'm assuming from swelling. Ugh. This picture was actually a month and a half ago at a baseball game...they get worse now just on a normal day.

Oh! I'm glad to hear you say that! I have the same problem at my job! But I need to get tennis shoes that fit me first lol
I have swelling at night. It's nothing close to you ladies though. Every night i ask FI to push the fluid back toward my heart so I'm set for the next day.
I don't have pictures either, but I had to buy new shoes last night for my last 4 days of work. None of my closed toed shoes fit after this weekend. Thank goodness I can wear sandals starting Friday!
Re: Swelling!! Show me your pictures!!
My feet swell a little by the end of the day, but most of the swelling is in my face. I look like I have three chins.

I don't know mine kinda really do hurt. They feel bruised and tender. My rings are off too
