Boo! I had them last pregnancy towards the end. They've popped up once this pregnancy but thankfully disappeared again. Though I think it's only a matter of time until they come back for good. The only tips my midwives gave me were for OTC stuff.
<TMI ALERT> eating tons of fruit/veggies seemed to help somewhat reduce the pressure, but then wiping got messier/more challenging which also hurt, just in a different way.
Thankfully, they resolved for me after I recovered from giving birth with DD.
When I get them I use Prep H after every bathroom visit. Keep those puppies coated! I've also found that warm water (either a bath or peri bottle) helps quite a bit.
