First midwife apt * updated *

I posted my update on f15 but of course I have to share with you ladies as well...

Today I had my intro apt with my midwife. I didn't think she would bother with the doppler bc the method they use to calculate the due date puts me at 8 weeks 3 days. I'm 99% sure that date is a good week off. Anyway so she said we would try the doppler but she didn't expect to hear anything. It didn't take long before she was able to pick it up! Such an amazing sound. Then I saw the look on her face and I knew exactly what she was thinking....she thought she heard a second heartbeat. Wtf?

My uterus is already two fingers above my pelvis which would mean either I'm much farther along (lmp apr 27, I did ovulate early) , a super stretchy uterus or twins. So tomorrow is a holiday so I will have to wait until weds to book an ultrasound to see whats what.

I really think I'm just further along and the baby was moving around a bunch....please let this be it!

**update** u/s showed just one! And a little further along than expected. Phew!

Omg. That is amazing. So freaking exciting! I am hoping it's twins. I love twinnies.

Thanks for the support ladies. I'm trying to keep calm and I remind myself that a doppler at 8-9 weeks is not amazing accurate but mostly Im losing my shit. At the top of my freakout list is having to get rid of my Rav 4 which I lve and get a minivan NOOOOO!!!!!! Oh and daycare for 3 kids, babywearing, double strollers, breastfeeding...oh yeah I'm losing it.
