Melanie as mn? In hospital now!

Melanie is my sister's name, and I've always loved it. We are in hospital, about to have baby number three. Team green, but if it's a girl, first name will most likely be Julia, with Amelia as a second choice. DH just threw out Melanie as a mn option. I love the sentiment, but not sure of the flow.

What do you think? Could Julia Melanie or Amelia Melanie work? We have a two syllable last name (think Cone as two syllables).

Older siblings are Alex Brett and Kathleen Elisabeth.

I don't think Julia Melanie sounds awful. I think it works just fine. It's nice you want to use you sisters name, and it's not like you're going to be saying the mn all the time anyway, so it doesn't have to flow perfectly. I say use it!!
