I'm feeling pretty good at the moment, which is kind of surprising considering that I woke up at 3:30 with low blood sugar and was not able to get back to sleep. But I had a nice walk with the dog and breakfast, and my stomach still feels okay so that's excellent.

My rant for this morning is that my husband decided that a name that he had crossed off his list for our boy is now back on it. I was very relieved when he decided against it. Hopefully if he insists on it, it will just be a middle name.

My biggest monthly expenses mortgage, and my second biggest is food.

  • I'm up to go to work but staying home with my little girl. She wasn't feeling too good.
However, I'm getting lots of cuddles. So I'm enjoying that.
Overall not a bad morning so far. Just a little sleepy from the loud storm that went through with tornado warnings last night.

  • I'm just getting off of work. My back hurts. Seriously considering a maternity pillow. It's either that or the couch.

My biggest expense each month? Car payments (over paying to get it done with) and then student loans.

so far, feeling pretty good.  I slept good last night other than the usual getting up to pee a whole bunch of times.  I have a rant/rave all in one!  I have to go to see my neurosurgeon to have him look at my incision on thursday. that's the sucky part.  I now have a 4 day weekend!  that's the YAY part!

What's your biggest monthly expense? And your second-biggest? Biggest would be mortgage.  Second was gas until recently.  I have been really working on getting gas points from the grocery store and now dh gets at least a dollar off some of his fill ups.  He drives an older explorer and it gets horrible mileage.  He was spending over $100.00 a week.  Now he probably spends about $70 a week.  :)  so gas may still be the second biggest, but thanks to my smart shopping, it's not as bad.  :)

  • Feeling ok today although it's pretty hot/humid already.  We had to turn the A/C back on.

Biggest expense is mortgage, and then probably either food or daycare (will definitely be daycare after this one gets added!)

I am STILL tired. I woke up last night to the worst back pain. It was making EVERYTHING hurt. Then I had nightmares the after I finally fell back to sleep.
What's your biggest monthly expense? And your second-biggest?
The first would be DH's student loans! Those are the best...digging yourself into massive debt, just livin the dream! Lol Then the second is probably the car payment, it beats the mortgage by a smidgen.

Feeling ok today.  Just not interested in being at work... struggling to concentrate.  At least I only have 1.5 more days before the long weekend.

What's your biggest monthly expense? And your second-biggest?
Ick... mortgage and in 2 weeks my student loan! Yay!! Barf.  Makes me sick to think how much money I took out for school.  Having a hard time swallowing the amount of this payment considering we have a baby on the way.

So. Damn. Tired. A couple of days ago, sleeping comfortable became impossible. I'm on day 2 of a crappy night's sleep and I'm STRUGGLING. To add to that, I also got a charley horse cramp in my right calf yesterday morning and woke up this morning with such a resulting sore calf that it hurts to walk. Calgon, take me away...

What's your biggest monthly expense? And your second-biggest?
Mortgage and grocery are probably neck and neck.

  • Feeling okay this morning, but I didn't sleep well last night.  Had lots of just random aches and pains.  Unfortunately, this is becoming the new normal for me. Also I will probably not get much done today because I am seeing DH at 1:00 for a filling on a cavity I have, and that will make my TMJ jaw pain flare up, which will give me a headache and make me lethargic.  Blah.  Planning on coming home to some Tylenol and hopefully a world cup game in which USA wins!

Biggest monthly expense:  RENT.  Second biggest: food probably.  It all goes on the credit card for points, and then we pay it off monthly so it seems like we have big credit card bills, but it's a combination of food/gas/little things that add up.

  • How are you feeling today? Do you have anything to rant or rave about?  Doing pretty decent.  After 3 nights of insomnia, I finally got a decent night's sleep last night.  Hopefully, my blood sugar will be better as well today.

What's your biggest monthly expense? And your second-biggest?  Currently, mortgage is 1st, then followed by food.  Soon, the second place will be day care.  It is really sad that the day care will be almost as expensive as our mortgage!

My cough is sticking around and my sore throat is back. Damn.

NBR (and if you are eating, please stop here), but we have this foster cat who had kittens almost 5 weeks ago now. On top of that, two of her kittens have soft spots and extra fluid on the brain and one has a swollen nose that looks like a clown nose and we don't know why. Of course I would end up with the odd cases... Anyway, we're giving antibiotics to both mom and kits, plus feeding the little ones since mom can't nurse in her condition. Well, we got them all taken care of last night and wrapped mama cat up in cabbage (yes, cabbage) to help her heal and put them in separate rooms. Woke up this morning mama cat had pulled the cabbage wrap up, eaten half the leaf, and then proceeded to "clean" the abcess. All. Night. I won't go into detail, but ew. Just ew. She's back at the shelter today to see if they need to do anything or if it's just going to look like shit for a while. And by golly, we're getting a cone so she doesn't make it worse!

What's your biggest monthly expense? And your second-biggest?

Not exactly sure which is more, but the top two are definitely student loans and the house.

  • Feeling pretty good.  I walked a little too much on Sunday and have been nursing a very sore lower back (pelvis specifically) since.

Our biggest expense is our mortgage.  I think #2 is a tie between daycare, food, and my husband's car payment.  Daycare will be bigger once we add #2 (and I totally shutter to think of what it would be if we had stayed with a center!).

I'm feeling okay today, I woke with a terrible headache, again & didn't sleep very well!
My rant is NBR! I ordered a new freezer from Home Depot to be delivered today (originally yesterday) & I called last night to check the status of delivery & they said it can't be delivered till July 8th, WTF! I've already removed all my food & unplugged the old one! Long story short after too much phone time with these yahoos they are delivering a loaner today till the new arrives on the 8th.
What's your biggest monthly expense? And your second-biggest?
Biggest expense is mortgage & second is probably food. (groceries & dining out)

    • Great overall, but the heightened sense of smell is driving me batshit crazy.
    • Today's rant: my DH won't stop leaving the fucking sponge in the sink!
What's your biggest monthly expense? And your second-biggest?
    • Biggest expense would be the mortgage, car payment a close second.
