Over the last week or so, my 9 week old has been spitting up allot more than usual and his poop has turned super watery and the last two days it has smelled like yeast. He has been feeding for shorter periods, maybe 5-10 minutes at a time, and pulling off several times during the feeding. He has also been passing allot of gas, but he hasn't been fussy. I do seem to have a pretty fast let-down, it sprays out and occasionally makes him gag and cough at the beginning of the feeding. When my milk does let down, my breasts tingle ALLOT and hurt a little. I don't feel engorged unless he goes a little longer between feedings than normal. Does this sound like an oversupply/forceful let-down problem? If so, have you found something that works good for you? Today I have been taking him off the breast when the milk lets down and catching the spraying milk in a towel, then letting him nurse when it quits spraying out.
