Intro and Question about Chemical Pregnancy

Hi everyone,
So I got official word today that I had an early miscarriage. The past week has been an up and down roller coaster. I started bleeding on tuesday but by friday my hcg had doubled to 38, and I was left confused and worried all weekend. This morning I got my answer, hcg was only at 28. My question is will my hcg continue to drop back down to 0 even though I am not bleeding anymore?
And if we decide to try again, are we able to this month or do we have to wait a cycle?

I'm so sorry. Your hCG should drop on its own, even with no bleeding, but if there is retained tissue there might be complications (though not common, so don't let that freak you out). As for when to try again, ask your doctor. Some doctors suggest waiting a few cycles and some are okay with you trying again after you get your period. It just depends on what standards they're following and your specific situation.

Sorry for your loss :(  I just experienced the same thing last cycle and we started trying right away.  I have heard that you are more fertile after a MC, so good luck!!

I'm sorry for your loss. :( If you have retained tissue your HCG levels can go up and down. It can take time for them to return to zero.
