Alice slept HARD last night. She woke up at 6:20 (30 minutes early) and her diaper was mostly dry! Now we are in the bathroom for the second time in 10 minutes. She thinks is a fabulous game to pull down at her pullup and see how quick I rush her to the bathroom. She giggles the whole time and then just plays on the toilet. Punk. LOL

@DuckOBX614 oh no!! I use Geico, and they didn't even blink. It was all wrapped in with the cost to repair my truck, and I just had to provide a receipt for the new seat I purchased.
You ok?

I'm tired. Up too late last night. Our DC is closed today so MH took a day off work to stay home w the girls. He already called me losing his mind. Lol. I asked if he thought I was kidding when I said its hard work.
They are coming this afternoon to fix the a/c- hopefully won't cost too much!!
Also- I posted this on Parenting, but someone made a fraudulent purchase using my husband's paypal account to the tune of $1800. We already put in a dispute, hope we get back the money quickly!!
I'm ready to go back to bed or start the week over. I was rear ended this morning. Thankfully K and L weren't in the car. There's a decent amount of damage. Has anyone dealt with Progressive(my insurance) or State Farm(other guy's) with getting car seats replaced? I hope its easy. I already put it in the claim, just waiting for the claim rep to call me. Hopefully this isn't how the whole week is going to be.
We got rear ended by a driver with state farm. They did not want to cover the carseat. The damage to our vehicle was cosmetic but our instruction booklet stated any accident requires replacement. I had to talk to a manager and read them my instruction book to get the seat replaced. I hope that it will be easier for you.
@DuckOBX614 Glad that you are ok, and I hope that the insurance companies don't give you a hard time. I have Statefarm and they have always been very easy to work with, I haven't had to have a car seat replaced though.
When I saw the title of this thread this came to mind Love Office space.
I am so ready for a do-over for this week. I am under papers at work today, I'm not even sure if I am coming or going anymore. At least Wesley slept in until 730 this morning after getting up at 4 and 5 for the last two weeks.
Girl fell off the toilet today. I leave her in the pot and cycle laundry while she's pooping otherwise we are in there for 30 minutes because she just wants to play. The washer was half filled and I hear a thud. She was freaked out more than hurt. I hope she's not scared of the toilet now!
I should add the laundry is like a foot and a half from the bathroom. So I'm not like across the house or anything.

Sorry everyone's having a rough start to this week!
Guys, don't ever buy a VW Jetta. Just don't do it. Unless I'm lucky and happened to get two lemons in a row, I think it's a shitty car make, although they're supposed to be awesome cars. Out of warranty, I've had to spend THOUSANDS in repairs for crap like the air conditioning going out, service engine light, air bag light, and a bad starter at only 40,000. I just got off the phone with the dealer and asked if they would work with us on the repairs because the air is out AGAIN and my air bag light is on AGAIN. I get to pay ONLY $300 for the diagnosis, then $99 per hour plus parts. WHAT A BARGAIN. It wasn't my finest moment but I told him VW can take my car and shove it up their rear. Never again!! I'm on the road 15+ hours a week and a freaking air conditioner and properly working air bags would be nice! DON'T EVER OWN A JETTA!!!!
@Beaf12 Have you look at the new Odysseys at all? The 2014 is the top ranked in all areas according to consumer reports. Do you think they have made any improvements since you bought yours?
In case you can't tell I am considering buying an Odyssey.
@mbm1983, I've heard several complaints about VWs and expensive repairs. But their following is still huge, I think because of the name. I do love Toyotas and I very well may be looking at some in the near future. My first car was a 92 Corolla and she went 210,000. Then another Toyota Corolla, then switched to Saturns, then a Suzuki and now the Jetta. All my other cars just needed regular maintenance and never gave me a minute's problem. I realize all cars have issues at times, but this is excessive!
The repairman said we really should just replace the ac unit and get a new furnace. DH and I have been expecting this, so do have some money we've been saving for it. The units are 29 years old, and the cost to fix the a.c. alone would be over 1000 dollars. They're come to estimate the cost on Wednesday evening. blarrrrgh.
I just ordered signage for my roadside stand this fall! I have a big pumpkin patch and we just baled over 1,700 bales of straw, plus I can make corn stalk bundles. I just need to find some wholesale mums and I'll have everything I need for a fall road side stand! I'm not really sure what to charge for pumpkins, do any of you remember what you've paid in the past?
@babycarryingvessel I think last year I paid 15 cents a pound for pumpkins from my local grocery store. A few years ago when visiting the in-laws up at there house in the country we went to a farm with a pumpkin patch and I think we paid $20 a pumpkin and got to go out into the patch and pick one out.
@BeaF12 We test drove an Odyssey and loved it, but I am also intrigued by the AWD available on the Sienna (I live in Maine and need a vehicle that is good in the snow). We know it's between these two as they are the top ranked. We also think we are going to wait until winter so we can test drive in the snow. My biggest concern with a vehicle is how it handles in the snow.
@mbm1983 I do have to admit, it was warmish water in the pool. We carried out about 10 pots of hot water from inside out to mix with the water out of the hose.

We are under a tornado watch. Just like last night. And just like last night the sky is beautiful and ominous at the same time. These are the storms building to the north of us. Looks like they are headed our direction. Yesterday they missed us. Pretty though.
Hey I just met you, and you're my baby. This is your family, we're kind of crazy...
Thanks @mbm1983. No worries. Looks like this storm will barely skim us as it passes. Sad though we need the rain. Lightning is pretty to the north. Although they have a tornado warning and power outages. So, not as fun.

For the last few days, Alice has been telling me when she has to pee about half the time when we are home. Except instead of saying pee or potty, she grabs the crotch of her pullup and leads herself around the room with it. She's super klassy, yo.

@SillyGirl85 Did State Farm just have you fax over the receipt of the new car seat you bought? I just talked to them and she gave me an address or fax number to send the receipt. I just seemed to easy.
And state farm is taking care of the repairs and rental car. Woohoo, I feel alittle more at ease.
We did fax it. But it was after about a week of run around. I'm glad it was easier for you.
