Well, unfortunately, I'll be hanging out here with you ladies. I had my appointment on Friday for what should have been 9 weeks and 5 days, ultrasound revealed that baby had no heartbeat and had stopped progressing at least a week prior.
I go in tomorrow to have my doctor insert the misoprostal vaginally to help my body expel everything. Not looking forward to that at all.
I will be referred to an infertility specialist because at a 6 week ultrasound, it was discovered that I have 8 fibroids that range from 1 inch to 2 inches in diameter. My ob says that there is no way for her to know if the fibroids played a part in the miscarriage, or if it was chromosomal. Hopefully, after the specialist gives me a scan, he'll be able to determine if I need another myoectomy (had a myoectomy in December of 2012 to remove two very large, softball sized fibroids). The radiologist that read my ultrasound images from Friday said that the fibroids aren't pressing on the endometrium, so getting pregnant again won't be a problem. Well, my concern is not getting pregnant, it's staying pregnant.
