Good friends of ours are having their first boy after two girls. We'd like to get them something small but boy-focused to celebrate the news. My first thought is some onesies in "boy" themes (I'm pro-neutral but she has been pretty "girly" with clothes for her girls, so this might come in handy?), but I also figure lots of other people will have the same first thought. Moms of girls who are now expecting boys, is there anything else we could get that would be appreciated for a boy that wasn't needed so much for a girl, or am I thinking about this too much?

Re: Moms of Girls Now Having a Boy
Or something like A+A swaddle blankets in a boy or neutral print?

ETA: Oh, a cute baby "boy only" item to get someone as a gift would be a PeePeeTeePee. Only really useful during the newborn phase before they start squirming like crazy, but they are crazy cute and would probably make parents of girls now expecting boys smile.

My friend that already has everything is getting a box of diapers & a nursing night grown from me. I love getting the mom a gift since usually everyone always buys for the baby, but not mom.

Ooo a friend gave me a peepee teepee! Do they really work that good? With my brother I always laid the new diaper on top of him and change really fast!
I also agree with mrslala, being a mom of a girl clothes, shoes, blankets, anything like that is the way to go.
Oh! And thanks @bardini for reminding me to add bath items to my shopping list. I have the cutest blue mickey mouse bathrobe with DS's name on it. I should get something similar for DD and some pink towels.
