AW: A/S results

Ultrasound tech said everything looks normal. Baby is measuring 6 days ahead. HE has long legs and arms. That's right, HE. Haha....all the old wives tales can SUCK IT! They were all wrong! There was no question about it. The tech said its a good thing we wanted to find out, cause there was no way to miss it. My monthly appt is Wednesday morning so we will get to talk to the dr about the scan and make sure she agrees that everything is ok. The tech spent a long time on his heart, but she said she was having issues getting the right view. She kept trying to get him to move. SD is a tad disappointed since she wanted a sister, but she is taking it well I think. DH said he wanted a girl, but he seems really happy about it. I didn't care either way, but I must say, my mind is blown. I really convinced myself it was a girl. I think it's going to take a couple days to sink in.

And I was the same way - I was sure it was a girl! Every dream I had, except for 1 or 2, were about a baby girl. Chinese calendar, Mayan calendar, old wives tales, all pointed to girl (except I had no morning sickness and haven't been moody), I even made a pee and baking soda cocktail and that said girl. So yeah, when the ultrasound tech showed us a dong, I was shocked! But I'm so excited for our little dude!
And don't worry about the name - Baby Boy is probably fairly uncommon of a name, right?
