Hey everyone!  Thanks for the check-in.  I did start working on transitioning rooms, haven't actually moved anything yet but we cleaned out the office this past weekend which is where the furniture that's currently in the nursery (guest room) will go.  So step 1 is complete!  I've been feeling aches and pains for the past few weeks and it seems early for that, but otherwise things are good.  I'm feeling the baby move daily now which I love and have actually seen small movements from the outside that H has felt once or twice, which is cool!  Next appt isn't until mid-July.

QOTW- Turns out I've really liked being pregnant generally, hard to pick the best part!  In addition to feeling the baby move, I think I've really enjoyed the attention/excitement/well wishes from others the most.  After 2.5 years of being happy and excited for everyone else, it's awesome to be on the receiving end!

We had our Echo yesterday.  Another problem with Baby A.  The NT has cleared up which is good but now he has atriovantricular septum disorder.  Basically the top two chambers of his heart were not completely divided.  According to the Dr he will need surgery before the age of 18 months.  I'm hoping that since he is growing a little slower than his brother it just hasn't completely finished yet.  The Drs are sticking to baby A having Downs Syndrome.  Baby B is growing like a champ and even growing a few days ahead of his gestational age.  Next appt is July 15th to follow up with MFM.  Then I have an appointment with the children's hospital to discuss the surgery.  TOOOOOO MUCH TO THINK ABOUT AT 17 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@ashris13 - you are correct, my elective u/s is tomorrow and we will find out the sex at the reveal party on Sunday!!  Good luck with your a/s...mine is 2 weeks from tomorrow (at 20+1) and I'm already starting to get nervous.  I'm sure it will be fine for you.

Nothing new other than finding out the sex this week!!  Being that I am 1 of 4 sisters with no brothers, I think it will be a boy just for my dad's sake.  My sister already has 2 boys and we joke that my little sister (who is due 8 days after me) and I will have boys as the first 4 grandbabies will be boys and then after that, it could go either way.  We will see - haha.  We also have a doppler/heartbeat check at my OB tomorrow.

QOTW: Honestly, a lot of people have known our struggle so they are just soooo extrememly happy for us.  It's nice to have so many supporters and cheerleaders on our side.  I also cannot wait until this belly gets bigger so I can show it off :)

*New RE* Sonohystrogram and hystereoscopy done in Feb.

@Ashris13 - thanks for the check-in. I hope your A/S goes great! Hang in there!
Ours is next Tuesday (7/1) and I am scared out of my mind too!

We were on vacation last week and then stopped at IKEA on the way home to purchase a crib and shelf. Now I am freaking out about opening anything before the A/S. Ugh.

I try to focus on the fact that we are officially half-baked and our GC is so positive and non-chalant about Tuesday. I am trying to adopt her Zen-ness...

Yay!!! I'm here!!!! 15 weeks today!!!! Team we don't know...is that green lol? Doctor appointment next week...just a checkup but I am SO excited because it's with my OB/GYN that I've seen for the past 9 years but I haven't seen her since I've been pregnant! I feel like when I see her I'll finally "feel" pregnant...I've always pictured her delivering my baby. (We did IVF at a specialty clinic, then my last two appointments were with different docs).

    EDD 12/15/14

Best thing about being pregnant....sometimes you just feel all rosy. Like being in love. And when people say really kind things or get excited for you...we rant a lot about stupid people, but there are really, really kind people out there. And the anticipation. I just can't wait to hold my baby!!!

@Ashris13‌ - thank you for a great check in. I hope everyone is doing well. I am 22 weeks today. I had a fetal echo yesterday. Everything looks good but will be going back in 4 weeks as Baby Boy wouldn't move his chin from his chest and they couldn't get a clear picture of the aorta. Had my monthly appt. with the OB today. My 24 hour urine test came back normal. Next appt in 5 weeks. QOTW - my favorite part about pregnancy is definitely feeling the kicks and jabs by the LO and the growing bump.

lincoln79 Which IKEA crib did you get? We did our nursery when we were still trying to adopt and got the Gulliver. I love that it's clean and modern. It's also plenty sturdy!
@ekc0630‌ (hugs) that's a lot to deal with.

Update: I'm not feeling this mythical second tri energy burst yet. Since I'm high risk and AMA, and our dog just had major spinal surgery (long story, but he's on the road to recovery), I'm trying my best not to overdo things. I can tell when I do because I feel increased pain and pressure in my uterus, which freaks me out. I talked to my boss yesterday about cutting my hours down to part time. She wants me to cut my hours in an unofficial capacity through the Fourth of July, and then we'll make a plan with HR. I think intermittent FERPA ought to get me there, and due to my high risk status, I've already got the paperwork in. I don't necessarily plan on returning after the baby comes, so I'm not worried about burning the time, and I'm mostly focused on making sure that I'm actually able to carry safely to term.

QOTW: I've generally had a rocky start to the pregnancy, but I'm pretty sure I felt the baby move Saturday night, so that was really exciting!

Can I please be added? I am due 12/17 with a singleton, currently team green but hoping to find out soon!

My next appt is July 2, and I'll have my biweekly cervical length check and they will start looking at baby's anatomy. Since I have biweekly u/s wk 14-20 I won't have a dedicated 'anatomy scan'- they will just be looking at things each time I go in.

Being in 2nd tri is tough for me, but I am trying to keep my PAIF/PGAL brain on lockdown as much as possible and focus on a positive outcome!

QOTW- so far the best thing about being pregnant is letting my gut hang out and having little shame! LOL

@ashris13 good luck at your a/s this week! Thanks for doing a great and personal job with the check in.

@ekx0630 T&P to you and your little ones!

AFM: We had our a/s last week and are team blue x2! I thought for sure we'd have one of each. But they were very proud of showing us 'their goods'. Preliminary result showed that everything looked good for the babies (which I was extremely happy & relived about), the only point of concern was the placenta for baby B appeared slightly close to my cervix. But that the radiologist had to look at it to be for sure. They said they would call if it was of concern. . .so I'm trying to relax on that front. I'm just glad to know that they appear healthy & what team we are so I can start preparing more such as start the registry!

QOTW: Now that I'm in the second. . .it is eating regular food again and having a legitimate reason to nap (before it was just I'm tired. . .now it is I'm tired b/c I'm growing humans). :)

@Ashris13‌ GL on your A/S. @ekc0630‌ T&P are with you....you have a lot on your plate, but keep your chin up. Hugs. As for me....25w4d and just can't believe it :) yes, the nursery is painted!! My mom and sister bought the paint and painted the nursery for us :) it's a very light gray (a gray gray, not a purple or blue gray) and it makes the room look nice and big! We also got the crib!!! It's still int he box, but DH said he plans on putting it together his week (I've already washed the linens and everything so I'm rearing to go!!) QOTW: definitely love feeling my little man in there. He is so freaking active and strong, but there is NO greater feeling :) (although DH reads him a story every night and I do love that!) had my monthly OB appt....everything's still all good and I am now switched to every 2 weeks visits. I declined the glucose test which didn't make my dr happy at first, but he compromised and I'll be testing my sugar B,L&D. I didn't think he would compromise and he did so that gave me more confidence in him as my provider :) happy week to you all!!

Me:Hypothyroid DH: Type II diabetic. Together since 03/2007, Married 10/2011, D/C bc 10/2011. TTC: 11/2011. Charted BBT and CV along with OPK 10/2011-02/2012 Baseline labs 02/2012 WNL, SA 03/2012: botched sample by lab - destroyed hubby's confidence. 04/2012 Clomid 05/2012 Clomid 06/2012 Clomid 07/2012 Clomid and Ovidrel 08/2012 Ovidrel (I never knew that I was supposed to be monitored while on meds...I never was. I asked for u/s and other tests to see why we weren't getting pregnant, doc just kept giving me meds and telling me to go to his church for a "laying of hands") Stopped all monitoring/testing/temps, etc, Sex became a chore and we started to grow apart. At 12 mos I decided to look for another doc. 02/2013 consult with new doc....3 days later testing began...u/s, all good, HSG: all good, labs: all good, ovulating, etc. Started on Pregnitude. 04/2013 failed attempt for SA, 05/2013 failed attempt SA. 12/2013 SA: 3% morph, abnormal functionality. DH started Pycnogenol. RE consult 01/15/2014.

Hello ladies! @Ashris13 thank you for the check-in!

I'm 15w1d today and doesn't have much to report.  Feeling totally normal like pre-pregnancy  =)  A/S is scheduled for 7/16 which is 3 days before my MIL's surprise birthday party.   We'll have the tech write down the sex of the baby and put it in an envelop.   Then we'll do a "balloons in a box" reveal after the party back at the house (not at the party which will happen in a restaurant).   DH wants to find out at the A/S but I convinced him it's only 3 days and it'll be fun to find out with our families.

I know it's early but I might have felt the baby move/kick today?  I had this weird spasm, twitching sensation coming from my lower abdomen where I usually pick up the heartbeat from the doppler.   It was sth that I've never experienced before.  I guess we'll have to see if it was baby or just my imagination.

QOTW: The best thing about pregnancy so far......is the feeling of love and fulfillment because of this little life inside of me.  I feel so loved by DH and feel like we connect at a different level.  I also love touching my growing bump!

Great check-in, thank you @Ashris13. Good luck Thursday at your a/s, really exciting!

I think I've given up on the cell-free testing since it seems like no one can order it for me. I am interviewing a 2nd OB on Thursday and seeing what she says. I'm 16 + 3 today. I think I'm getting somewhat in the zone of being able to feel movement but don't think I've felt anything yet. It's making me a little anxious, but I've read that some people feel it a lot later than others (even up to 20 weeks?)

QOTW: Honestly, the best thing about pregnancy so far is having my DH come home from a trip telling he missed both me *and* the baby, or calling me when he's away saying "I miss you both!" It just warms my heart so much, and I'm not even a mushy person. :x

@Ashris13‌ thanks for another great check in.
@ekc0630‌ my T&P are with you and your babies
    @ttuprincess‌ happy anniversary!

I'm trying to keep up with my water. We were out all day Saturday for DH's birthday. Fun day but didn't get enough water and too my salt. I feel like I'm still trying to catch up.

23 weeks tomorrow. Had an appointment on Friday, I heard Manny's heartbeat. It was cool, I would feel him move then hear the movement on the Doppler. Doc says everything is going well. I couldn't be happier. My FIL gets in Tuesday to help DH remove & reinstall drywall & insulation in baby's room, plus a ton of other handyman projects to get the house ready. I'm excited to decorate soon!

QOTW: it's a toss up of feeling the baby moving and being completely spoiled because I'm pregnant (I can get used to it too! Lol)
Me: 33 - PCOS & Hypothyroidism DH: 35 - SA is good Married since 2010 (together since 2006) TTC since June 2009 (we knew we would have issues and wanted family right away after we got married). No pregnancies yet. May 2013 - started first round of Chlomid & ovidrel cycle.

    Totally missed this post yesterday.

I'm 17 weeks today. I'm getting some energy back but still have a lot of food aversions. I'm hoping some of them go away before our vacation next month because I'm looking forward to all the yummy food. I did some maternity shopping over the weekend and picked up some work clothes. Then my neighbor gave me two bins of her maternity clothes. I LOL'd when I opened them because everything was a size 4, XS, S and I'm definitely a M, 8/10. About half of it fit though so I have a decent wardrobe to get me into the fall. I may need to pick up some more pants for work at some point. We also started our registry over the weekend since July and August are busy months for us so that was fun. And we finally did a FB announcement at 16.5 weeks. I have my next doctor's appointment on Monday.

QOTW: Announcing that I'm pregnant has been fun. And going to register. After 2.5 of trying and all the IVF stuff it's nice to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

     TTC since August 2011, Me = 40, DH = 38
Unexplained IF. Tried Clomid for 3 cycles. All BFNs. BFP 1/6/13. Chemical pregnancy.

Moving on to IVF#1. ER 11/26/13, 16 eggs retreived, 12 mature and all fertilized. 2 blasts transferred on 12/1. All other embies arrested so nothing left to freeze. Beta 12/10 = BFN. IVF #2 March 2014. BFP!!! TEAM BLUE!!!

I bought a bunch of maternity clothes over the weekend, and a couple of little outfits for Baby.  It is the first time I have bought anything pregnancy/baby related, so it was fun, but still a little scary.  No names yet.  It is going to be hard!  Everyone has something to say about any name we mention - I'm almost at the point of keeping it secret until baby boy arrives, and they'll have no choice but to love him and his name :)  We also toured a couple of daycare centers and found one we love!  It feels crazy to being looking so early, but in our area everywhere has waiting lists for infants, so I want to be ahead of the game and not rushed.
QOTD: The best part so far is telling friends and family after our difficult road - we've actually had a few people cry when we tell them, which is really touching.

@Ashris13-good luck at your a/s tomorrow!  @ekc0630-that is definitely too much to think about!  I am so sorry you are going through this & my T&Ps are with you.

I am 21w2d today.  I actually switched doctors & had my first appt. with the new doctor last week.  I had been going to my previous Ob/Gyn for 7 years prior to switching but her bedside manner sucked so bad that I couldn't deal with it anymore.  And it wasn't just me being sensitive because she was annoying DH too.  Anyway, I really like the new doctor & switching means I get to deliver at the hospital where I wanted to in the first place.  I am continuing to shop for nursery stuff but decided to hold off on the carrier & stroller as my parents want to get that.  The baby is really moving around this week & DH felt her kick for the first time last night so that was super exciting!

QOTW: My favorite part would have to be DH talking to the baby & catering to me:)  If I say something sounds good, he is running to the store to get it which is pretty awesome & he is even attempting to help with laundry!  And him having to clean the cat litter box is pretty great too!

@missvolvo‌ personal preference is all. I understand the seriousness of GD and follow a diabetic diet (DH is type 2) and I will be monitoring my glucose levels at home. With my diet and capabilities to monitor, there is no need to take the test. To me, it's too much sugar to give my LO

@ashris13 - Thanks for the congrats!! Test went great, still super squirmy so they didn't get every shot they wanted to but enough that they were confident sending a normal report over to my Dr. I've had a ton of pain and discomfort in my groin/lower abdomen too and it's reasonably normal - usually round ligament pain.

QOTW: Just being pregnant, period. After 57 cycles this is still surreal :) I guess my very favorite is seeing the wigglebum during the US.

Thanks for the check in @Ashris13‌ . I would like to be added please. My edd is 12/22/14 & I'm currently team green until our a/s.

I had an appointment earlier this weeek. The doctor checked the baby with the doppler and the heart beat sounded great. Because of the couple of surgeries I have had to remove tiny fibroids, my doctor wants to have my cervix measured and monitored. He just wants to be proactive in case there are any issues, but I am hoping there won't be any. We booked the anatomy scan for 7/29. We are not doing a baby shower so we opted to have a gender reveal with only immediate family members. We will all find out at the same time and my family is so excited.

QOTW- I love seeing my belly grow! I have a legit bump now and I am loving it

Thanks for a great check-in @Ashris13‌ and hope the ultrasound went well!

I will be 24 weeks tomorrow! Not much new with me, looking forward to the 3d/4d ultrasound in about a month and trying to plan jeffrey's second bday party. Very busy time at work right now but at least it should slow down by mid-August and I am glad to get some things accomplished in the meantime!
QOTW: I like the extra attention and just feeling special. This will be my last time to be pregnant so I am trying to savor it!

    Sorry to be so delayed.

I have a 26 week appt. tomorrow with my ob.  I think I have a pretty bad UTI and am hoping for some answers tomorrow.  Took my 1 hr. blood glucose test last Friday and will get results tomorrow too.  it is also a big day for my blood pressure.  Not sure what the dr. will say but she had said she'd put me on blood pressure meds if it didn't come down.....this all combined has been making my bp go up!  Just upset about it all I guess.  My husband has not been able to get to my ob appts but I told him I definately need him to attend tomorrow's appt. as I have a ton coming at me.  We also start birthing classes tomorrow night at the same office too.  (4 weeks in a row for 2 hours each session)

I am trying to keep it all in perspective but it just feels like a ton coming at me.

On a brighter note....my two cribs, dresser and chair came in on Saturday and were set up in the nursery. I hope to post some pictures soon.

QOTW:  I think just BEING pregnant finally and knowing I have a shot at being a mother is what I love most.  Hearing other people happy for me also means the world!  I love feeling the babies kick too.
