Nothing new....Though I have officially given up pumping on a daily basis. My output has been next to nothing lately. I still bring my pump with me to work in case I decide to use it...but so far I have not. We still BF. just in the mornings and when I am home with her. Otherwise, just another week in the airport.
We have a large management team. There are 11 agents, 7 sups, 1 asst manager, and 1 manager. Some of the sups I do not like very much, the asst manager, no way, but my manager, yes...Love him. He listens well, cares about how we are doing. Just an all around nice guy
This week wasn't bad other than we ride bikes on Thursday and it kicked my butt. It was so hot and muggy. I was sweating buckets. Wed I went to a class's and learned lots of new info.
I like my current sergeant. She is great. Doesn't change how she is when dealing with anybody.
I have to start writing letters of recommendation so that I don't have to worry about it in September. Also, I need to find a freshman teacher's edition so I can start lesson planning. One teacher who isn't teaching freshman anymore seems to be trying to hang onto it for unknown reasons. Grrrrr.
I have a few different bosses. My department chair is my husband. He's pretty good, and I'd say that even if we weren't married. The administration has I think 5 people on it, and they usually don't know what's going on with individual teachers unless you're a trouble maker. They're fine.
This last week was busy. I've pretty much decided if I go back to work during the summer I will not pump during the day. I will continue to nurse morning and night as long as possible, but no more pumping. I have a lot frozen I can mix with formula and WCM once it is time.
I was near Chicago last week for 3 days for work - we had a team meeting (my team is all remote workers around the country). I hadn't been to one in a year (we meet quarterly) because it was easier to not pump on the road and my boss was supportive...thankfully pumping went fine this time around, other than than the many delays to get out of Chicago and having to pump wherever I could. I also managed to pump with my manual on the plane on the way to Chicago - woot! But man did I miss DD!
My boss is great - he's very flexible and a very understanding person - he's a hardass when he needs to be.

My boss is actually one of my really good friends. It's not weird at all and we seperate our friendship and working relationship well. I like her.
