I Feel Like Only Pregnant Women Understand Me

I feel like it's EXTREMLY rude when I voice my concerns about things that may have upset me or made me really mad and ppl blow it off as "being hormonal" it's getting to the point I don't even like talking to ppl things I would've said 2 weeks ago (when most ppl didnt know I was prego) now are taken as me being a sensitive woman. Anyone else going thru this?

Re: I Feel Like Only Pregnant Women Understand Me

  • Ugh, I understand. A friend's dad thinks it's soooo funny to mock pregnant women by saying everything they do or say is related to their "crazy hormones." And you know, anyone would be a bit emotional after throwing up for five weeks, gaining weight and being exhausted and worried all the time, even without the hormones. It's just another way people love to invalidate women's thoughts and feelings. I have no advice but I can offer you a creepy internet hug of understanding.

I work as a manager at a corporate restaurant and its so difficult to get anyone to listen tk me (my fellow mgrs ) they barly talk talk to me or help me so I just dont talk to anyone except my crew that respect me anyways. And the few mothers that I work with. Ugh but let me tell you its going to be a lonnnng 5 mor mos.
