This is just out of curiosity from comments I've seen on here. Both of my kids have gone directly back to sleep and into their crib after waking to eat at night. I never have had to rock etc to get them back down. Is this not the norm? After reading posts on here I feel like maybe in more lucky than I thought. How does your LO go back to sleep?

Right back to sleep or into crib after eating
It takes a little soothing, but not long
I have to rock or otherwise sooth for more than 5 minutes

DD - who didn't STTN until 11 months - always fell right back to sleep on the boob.

DD1 on the other hand would be up forever and need to be rocked and bounced back to sleep. And then held another 10 minutes before we could put her down. Don't miss those nights.
