Hey Ladies! Congrats to you all!! My stats: BFP on 12DPO (6/25) Me (30) DW (38) I am pregnant with our first and we got pregnant during our 4th cycle without medication working with the RE! (We are lesbians)

I have been doing so much research and reading on this "pregnancy brain" topic and I totally have it! I have become so extremely absentminded, forgetful, and just plain feel dumb sometimes! Anyone else experiencing this?

Welcome and congratulations! I didn't have pregnancy brain issues until much much later last pregnancy so I'm not surprised I'm not dealing with it yet.

Thanks Ladies! It feels so good to finally be able to post our happy news since we aren't telling family and close friends until the end of July! I have had some friends that lost pregnancies early and I'm terrified of that, even though doc says hormone levels look awesome! I just imagine having to tell that kinda news! Anyways, my pregnacy brain is out of control. Last week, I forgot to put my Jeep in park and it almost drove away on me, and yesterday I calledy mother immediately to ask her a question and it room me about 6 mins to remember why I was calling! Lol! Although annoying I love my preggers symptoms, reminds be each and everyday that life is growing inside of me!

I didn't think I was having it until last night, when I realized I took the pack of cheese slices I had been eating into the bathroom with me. I wasn't still eating them, I just deliberately picked them up and took them into the bathroom to pee.

I mean, there's something not right with that.

Congrats! I have ADD, so I'm absent minded and forgetful normally. Last week after the BFP I was more so absent minded, but probably because of the shock of the BFP.

My PG brain is mostly forgetting things and I've noticed over the last couple days my brain and mouth are not on the same page...I was having a conversation with my MIL and I couldn't talk right to save my life!

The day I had my first positive test this time I ran a red light (while paying attention?) and stopped my car too close to the railroad tracks and had the arm barrier thing come down on the back of my car (I was able to pull into a parking lot and not die thank goodness). Then I stopped at another stop light and started turning right and traffic started coming at me quickly. I called DH and said I'm a danger to myself today. The only reason I can be this much of a space cadet is if I'm pregnant. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I actually was!!

Today, I pulled in the driveway from work, got out of the car and started up to the front door, only to realize I left the keys in the ignition and the car running! duh!

This evening I went to give DD her antibiotics for her ear infection and I couldn't find the bottle in the fridge. Turns out I put it in the cabinet (with her sippy cups?!) for over 10 hours when it needed to be refrigerated. I had to call the pharmacy to make sure it was still ok to use. Ugh.

I forgot to put DH's clothes in the dryer before bed last night. He has a very small wardrobe, so usually all his clothes get washed at once. So all his clothes were in there. Luckily he wakes up early enough that he could at least put one outfit in the dryer and have it mostly dry by the time he needed to leave. Oops. I also forgot to take the trash out last night. Oh well, I'll put it in the trash can outside with the trash I forgot to put out last week. Lol (Technically that's DH's job anyway...)
