My chart has been kinda whacky this month. I just chalked it up to user error...
Based on last month's O date, FF thinks I should have O'd CD17. Based off of assumption, my chart looked like I may have O'd CD16. FF did not give me any crosshairs based off of the standard method - Advanced (Recommended). In vein, I removed all of my times and out them at N/A to see of that would help, but no love. So I decided to manually override so that O Day was CD16 with a cover line of 97.75F and I've been working with that.
Now I'm on CD33 (First Month was 30Ds, Second Month was 31Ds) and frustrated. So I was playing with FF again, and with the Research mode it gave me crosshairs, where I may have O'd CD23.
Now I'm just really confused and frustrated.
My question is, have any of you ladies had any experience with the Research Method? Has it ever given you 2 different O dates? Do you think that the Research Method has a decent amount of reliability/credibility?
@FINEdoubleLINE - I temp orally. I meant to start at a set time/vaginally this month, but the beginning of this cycle I had a lot going on and completely forgot to switch.
Not using OPKs just yet. We are NTNP and while my husband is okay with temping and charting he thinks OPKs are a bit much at this point.
I'm unsure about tracking Cervical Position because I check my CF internally and occasionally reach for my cervix but I can't seem to find it while sitting on the toilet.
@FINEdoubleLINE - Thanks for the mini-tutorial. I tried the Captain yesterday with no luck. =/ I have a tilted uterus, I wonder if that has anything to do with my inability to reach?
@booklover811 - If I ever get out of this cycle I will have to switch. Last month's was so clear and concise. I don't know why this month is being so difficult!
@FitMom3510 - I'm glad I'm not the only one who'd thought that CD16 looked likely. It looks like I'm just waiting this mess out and taking it from there.
UPDATE: Advanced is now giving crosshairs at CD27 and Research at 30CD.
