Medicine question.

Okay ladies I have a cold and I am miserable! Do any of you know of any medication that is safe to take for a cold during pregnancy! Thanks in advance!

I think recommendations differ from one practice to the next.  My MFM really wanted me to get through my 2 recent colds (non-febrile) sans medication if possible. He did have a recommendation in the event I felt way too miserable, but I find that recommendations vary between practitioners despite active ingredient pregnancy class.

  • My OB okayed Robutussin, but I felt like it was a waste of money. It did absolutely nothing to help my symptoms.

One thing I love when I have a cold, pregnant or not, is tissues with Vicks in them. I highly recommend those! Feel better!
