no poop in 3 days.....

My poor little guy.  My pedi said that up to a week with o poop is normal for BF babies but I feel so bad.....He's got to be uncomforable (or maybe Im just imagining him being more fussy then normal)

    DS went yesterday without pooping and has been only pooping once a day for about a week. We are adding in formula in the evening and started him on oatmeal cereal as well. He was SUPER fussy yesterday, I think it was combo of traveling and not pooping.

    give him 1oz of gerber apple juice and that should help.

    My pedi said breastmilk is super efficient, F only poops once or twice a week.

    Thats totally nomal in the beginning.  It gets less around 2 months.

    We had this issue since DS went on formula around 3 months. We give him 2 oz. of apple/prune juice (the gerber stuff) each day. That does the trick. For a younger baby, you can give them 1 oz. juice with 1 oz. water. It shouldn't hurt them if they are at least a few months old. It's not like you're giving them pop. :-)

    Totally normal for BF babies.  Don't give juice or water because they're not constipated.  Mine has gone a week without pooping several times recently.  It's not uncomfortable and they'll poop when they need to.
