Does anyone know if i can use a baby trend flex loc carseat with a baby jogger stroller?
The only thing i have found online is that the carseat fits in the universal adaptor but doesnt click in. Would that still be safe enough for going on walks etc?
I already have the carseat (and 2 extra bases) from ds abd don't want to have to rebuy a carseat and bases. I am looking at getting the city versa gt stroller though for the new baby.

Re: baby trend carseat on baby jogger stroller?
Just throwing out another option if it doesn't end up being an option, you could get a snap n go (2nd hand) and use it while you've got the baby in the infant seat. I found once LO got a little bigger & had enough head control, I prefered using my Baby Jogger stroller for walks without the adaptor/infant seat. Instead kept a snap n go with her infant seat & would unload the car into the basket of the snao n go & put infant seat in and roll into the house with only one trip from the car.

@littlefish1, I haven't called them yet. I guess that would have been a good first step though.
If when baby is here, you find that the seat is not a safe fit, the Cosco Light n' Comfy Elite is an excellent seat for even tiny babies and is $80 at Walmart.

The insert does nothing to help the fit of the straps. BabyTrend seats simply do not fit newborns unless they have incredibly long torsos that reach at least to the lowest strap slot. There are moms everyday on CSFTLs who realize their newborns don't fit in their BT seat and need to purchase a new seat. I would hate for a new mom to get unsafe information here.

Yes, we had a safety tech chech both our kids. In fact, to find one, we had to drive almost an hour, but ensuring my children's safety was worth it. The BT car seats now come with an insert that boosts them about 2 inches, so the lowest slot for the straps is below their shoulders and therefore is a proper fit. Neither of my kids had a long torso by any means (they are all legs), and they fit fine. By "insert" I'm not talking about the thing that goes around their head, but one that's under their rear end.
