STM - best jogging stroller? Double stroller?

I bought the baby trend jogging stroller when pg with DD. she's 18 months old and I've jogged twice with it. I HATE the thing. You have to lock the front wheel it's is F'ing annoying because I live on planet earth and there aren't ANY straight, no turn, sidewalks around and trying to maneuver that thing with a front locked wheel makes me want to burn it.
When it's not locked it goes WOBBLE WOBBLE WOBBLE WOBBLE WOBBLE and not only can I not hold it doing that but someone will say I have DD shaken baby syndrome. Not good.

I used to run before pg with dd and just haven't been able to really again since she's been born. I'm hoping to get back in it again but need a different stroller.

Then my dilemma is do I find a double stroller for jogging? I love the baby trend for the big ass air pump wheels bc when we take it out on gravel or up to the mountains it's awesome. But jogging....nope

    I'm a FTM but I think I'm going to go with the BOB revolution.  MH and I run a lot so I hope it works well. From what I've heard (and what pp said) the swivel wheel really should be locked while running but I have a feeling that is going to be a pain.  I'm interested to hear what others think the best jogging stroller is.

    This. I have the baby trend but it has a lot of miles on it and started doing the wobbly thing you described after I had it about 18 months. (The nuts and bolts wore down on the front wheel) I'm getting a double BOB this time around. But there are pros and cons to both brands I think.

    The bob all the way- also have the baby trend when I had my dd and when I had my ds 18 mos later the bob revolution dualee was the best fit for us. Just be sure to get the appropriate car seat attachment if you want to use it right away w both kids- I found mine at amazon the cheapest but it seemed target and bbrus were putting it on sale- flip flopping weeks. Love that stroller- as my husband said "this is the Cadillac of strollers"...

    I have a double BOB and love it. It's a bit of an investment but it's the only stroller I use now. So far, I haven't found any type of terrain that it can't handle and it turns on a double stroller dime.
