How often are you eating?

I feel like I'm hungry All. The. Freaking. Time. Like within an hour of eating anything, I'm hungry again! And, if I don't eat immediately, I've been getting killer headaches. Anybody else doing the same? It's 2pm here, and I'm already eating a snack (had lunch at 12, and a midmorning snack right before that!).
I most certainly do not need to gain a bunch of excess weight this pregnancy, but I can't stop eating!

  • i'm not eating enough.  i feel like i want to eat but nothing sounds appealing (or if it does, two bites in and it's turning my stomach).  i didn't even eat lunch yesterday...i had a pickle when DS ate, and then yogurt and hour later, and then nothing till dinner.  it kind of sucks.

  • Sounds like how should be eating. Breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, snack. I haven't been eating enough tho.
  • All. Day. Long.

    It's seriously the only way I keep from feeling sick.

    This exactly. It's the worst.
  • This last week I have had to eat every hour to avoid migraines. I just roll with what my body wants. I quit counting calories but still try to make healthy choices

  • I have to snack all day as opposed to eat meals otherwise the bloating becomes too uncomfortable.

  • my problem us I'm not getting enough protein cuz meat is making me sick that's y I was always hungry all the time, maybe it's the same? R u getting enough protein? my dr said try n add some beans n hummus n stuff like that too my diet n it's really helped me feel fuller longer.. really as long as ur snack isn't a dozen donuts n ur trying to get a decently balanced meal I wouldn't stress it.. listen to ur body, it knows what it needs..

    I eat about every 3 hours, but I try to choose mostly healthy things.

    With DS I gained 25 lbs and lost 20 within 2 weeks of him being born just from baby and fluids and things, so I'm mainly just eating what I want and what I can to not feel too hungry or nauseous.

  • constantly. all the time. hubby laughs at me for it. Ive taken to keeping the fridge stocked with lots of fruits like grapes and strawberries for some healthier snackage. Surprisingly though, I've lost five pounds despite all that I've been eating!

  • Every 2 hours here.  If I go more than 3 hours, the nausea really kicks back in.

    I eat every couple of hours, but I need to plan my snacks better. I have ended up raiding the vending machine at work...

    I had severe nausea which is finally starting to subside, so I was hardly eating before.

  • I am just getting past awful MS so food still seems off to me but... I am trying to eat a protein snack every 2 hrs to prevent the nausea from returning. If I go even a minute past 2 hrs, I get sick again. It sucks - but I'm getting better at planning snacks that work.

    Pistachios
    Honey roasted peanuts
    Peanut butter and pretzels
    Peanut butter crackers
    Cheese sticks
    Granola bars with nuts in them
    Trail mix

  • Not enough. I wake up starving. Most of the day just have no appetite. And then at night too tired to even do anything. I hate to admit but beef Ramen is my saving grace right now. That and green apples. Might try mac and cheese tonight. Can wait until my appetite is back. My busband can't wait either.
  • Every three hours on the button or I feel like I will pass out. But I try to stick to regular meals- smaller portions so I don't feel sick- and tons of fruit in between. I can thankfully eat as mcj fruit as I want without feeling sick or bloated. I'm loving cherries and peaches right now!! But no bananas- they make me gag!
  • I try to snack ever couple of hours. Even if I have to choke stuff down otherwise the nausea is just insane. It's mostly a bland diet.

  • Every 2-3 hours if I'm not too nauseated or puking my guts out.

    More frequently if I'm trying to poop.  hahaha.

    When I am at home I graze.... all day. When I am at work I can go a couple of hours 2-3 because my mind is on other things.

  • My only problem is that sometimes I get so hungry and have such cravings that it gets really hard to make good food choices. Fried chicken right now sounds amazing...

    This. The nausea hasn't been terrible, but the headaches are KILLER.

    Mine is chicken Ramen! I just crave anything salty, and when I do have a meal, it's loaded with salt. I'll need to cut back on the sodium later once my regular appetite kicks back in, but for now, eating something (usually salty or bland) every couples hours is what I'm currently doing. Still feel like crap most of the day, though.

  • I eat literally every hour on the hour. If not I get horrible heartburn and empty stomach aches. So I keep pop around because Coke is the only thing that settles my stomach.
  • With my nausia I have to eat a lot of small meals throughout the day cause one big meal or 3 big meals make me very sick!

  • I'm pretty sure I'm not eating enough. Most of my diet is yogurt and cereal. Nothing is appealing to me. The extra fatigue is making it hard for me to eat. Right now, I'd rather sleep than eat.

  • I had bad MS (all day) but then realized once I made myself eat something (even a few small bites) made me feel better so that is what I do. I also have the problem of being hungry like 30-45mins after eating a big meal.
