Introducing myself :)

Hello I am new here so I thought I would just introduce myself and share a bit about me

I'm due Oct 19 with our first. We are expecting a boy

We tried to conceive for just shy of 2 years before I bought a puppy (in addition to our jack russel and cat). This puppy was a huge hot mess and I decided that it would be too chaotic to bring a baby into this world with this crazy dog, so we stopped trying. Well, SURPRISE! Two months later I found out I was pregnant.

We are beyond excited, just still surprised since we weren't expecting to get pregnant. I feel a little overwhelmed with how much I have to learn before baby comes, since I haven't held a newborn in 10 years haha. But that's what those classes are for!

My husband is active duty military so the whole healthcare thing is a bit different for us than traditional pregnancies.

Well I look forward to getting to know the others in this group. It is such a nice thing to have a group like this!
