Hubby and I have been married for 4 years, I'm 25 he's 33- ready to begin our family! The problems are adding up though we have never used BC but still having trouble conceiving....just had my first visit to the RE but he recommended several tests, Bloodwork, & ovulation tracking. Where/how do we even begin to navigate this?
HELP
Re: OK! newbie done lurking, we're ready for a BFP...how?
We are trying to have a healthy pregnancy. I hope that support & something POSITIVE comes from being a part of this group, as I'm young and really looking for some suggestions from those who have already been here.
I sincerely appreciate the positive messages & sorry if I confused...I'm still learning how to even post correctly lol!
Have a great day ladies!
I understand now (I think) that you've been having unprotected sex for 4 years (aka "not trying, not preventing"). In the year that you've been more actively "trying", have you kept track of your cycles at all?
People aren't asking that to be condescending, they're asking because our sex ed system scares us out of having sex by teaching us that we could get pregnant any old time, if a penis just happens to poke you. But that's not actually the case, and a lot of us don't learn that until we don't get pregnant as easily as we hoped, and end up learning more about how our bodies and cycles work.
So, I haven't been charting or temping, just read the newbie blog last night so I'm going to get a BBT and begin that. Also, as soon as I'm on my cycle my RE is sending me for an HSG(?) Test so I'm basically just here to visit and talk to lots of ladies that have been there...would love to build some lasting relationships & of course have a healthy bundle of joy (:
