Do I have a baby shower?

This will be my 3rd kid and I know typically You wouldn't have a 3rd shower. The only thing is my last kid was 8 years ago. Never thought I would have another. So I have nothing baby left. I don't want to be rude and ask but would it be rude?

    I've heard you can have a "sprinkle" and that's the new thing now a days. I would say it depends on your friends and family. Some are totally up for anything, and others are very ... reserved. If it were me, I would say 8 years is a big enough gap where it makes sense.
