A/S and it is a .....

BOY. His name is Alvin James ( AJ).
There was a few things with the scan.
1) white spot on his heart. Soft indicator of Downs.
2) He has the right side of his umbilical cord pointing to his tummy.
*Normally the lest side is the one that comes out and goes away from the tummy.*
Both they said we're of no major consern.
They mentioned the heart thing due to being To diabetic and with the exposure to meds.
The 2nd one is just a a thing that can happen.
Because they are so minor we are not really telling anyone. But I needed to get off my chest and I know this is a good place.
So we are excited.
Now just need to ride out this bronchitis and be healthy the rest of this pregnancy.

    Congratulations! Sorry that the A/S wasn't absolutely perfect but if the doctor says its of no major concern then I'd try not to worry too much and just be excited - as you say you are! Hope the bronchitis clears up soon - being sick is no fun, especially when pregnant, especially in summer :)

    Yay, congrats on baby boy! I am sorry there were a few concerns but I'm hopeful that these issues are nothing to worry about! Take care of yourself & feel better soon!

    Congrats on seeing little AJ!! I know it is scary but I agree with the others that if your doc is not super concerned it can't be too big of an issue.
