Routine? What's that? We usually get up at about 7, eat and play for awhile. LO may nap around 10 and if I'm being lazy I nap as well otherwise I either shower or just veg out on my phone of computer. Sometimes we try to go out and shop or whatever in the afternoon. Otherwise just hang out and do baby things. Maybe get something ready for dinner. DH gets home about 5:15. We eat and LO gets a bath at 8 then eats about 9 and goes down for bed. Sometimes she falls asleep at 9:15. Sometimes she's up until 10:30. LO is 7 weeks on Sunday.
My little guy is 8 weeks. Our "routine" is really loose but our days tend to follow the same theme. Get up anywhere between 6 and 9 depending on how many night feeds he had and whether or not MH was able to help out (he only works 3 days a wk right now and I'm still on mat leave). We eat, play, do tummy time, and LO is pretty snoozy throughout the morning. I try to get as much cleaning/pumping/random other to-dos done while he sleeps in his bouncy chair. We try to do at least 1-2 long naps in his crib a day. Sometimes we will venture out for a walk or quick errands between feedings. When 5 or 6pm rolls around LO is usually sick of the day and has one big scream fest that luckily only lasts 5 mins or so. The hubs and I eat in shifts for dinner. LO gets a bath every other night and I try to get him to bed around 8. Then I indulge in as much crappy tv/internet as possible before I go to bed around 9. We are living the dream, I tell ya!
DD1 has a good consistent routine now, so I stick to it as much as I can and DD2 tags along in the carrier.
- 7.30ish DD1 wakes up, usually jumps on DD2 and wakes her up
- 7.30 to 9.30ish DD2 nurses, somedays she goes back to sleep somedays she sits with us during breakfast. DD1 and I eat breakfast. Dress everybody. Pack diaper bag for the day. Nurse DD2.
- 9.30am to 11/11.30am Go to park. DD2 naps in the carrier the entire time. Go home
- 11.30-1pm nurse DD2. cook and eat lunch. DD2 either hangs out in bouncer or nurses some more
-1pm-3.30ish DD1 naps. I hang out with DD2 then she naps.
-3.30-4.30pm DD1 eats a snack. DD2 nurses
-4.30-6pm go to playground. DD2 sleeps in carrier.
-6-8pm cook and eat dinner. DD2 cluster feeds. DD1 goes to bed.
-8-10pm DD2 cluster feeds, until we both fall asleep.
-10pm-7am sleep with night feedings around 1am, 3am, 5am, 6am.
I don't follow a strict schedule. I adjust the timing of meals and naps everyday depending on what time DD1 woke up and how cranky she is.

We get up between 6-7, eat then play with DD and DS.
DS gets fussy and fights sleep around 10, finally asleep usually by 11.
DD eats lunch and then goes down for a nap around 12, usually sleeps until 2.
DS wants to eat again, so he gets fed.
Mommy either works, cleans up the house, vegs on the computer or sleeps.
Both kids up at 2, DD gets a snack.
We play, DS eats somewhere in there, DH gets home at a flexible time each day so dinner is usually between 5-6.
DD and DS get baths between 630-730 (depending on the nap schedule or what we've done that day), bed time for DD is between 730-8.
DS plays, eats, then conks out between 8-10. Sleeps about 4 hours then wants to eat again.
DH and I relax (as he gets up at 430 for work--starts at 6), I play on the computer, work, etc until between 10-11 then it all starts again.
**sometimes DS likes to get up when DH leaves for work at 415, and play until around 615----those days are extra long because DD gets up usually close to 7.
We try and get out of the house at least once a day, and two days a week DD goes to preschool summer camp.......those days mommy works from home and tries to sleep some.
For the last week or so it's been going like this:
Up for day around 7. Nurse, swing time while mommy eats and drinks coffee
Nap around 8 or 9. Usually this is while being worn. I do stuff around the house while she's on me. Nap is anywhere from 30-120min
Nurse, play, until ready for next nap usually around 11-12. This is usually in the car, in car seat or worn/stroller as I time my errands around this nap.
Afternoons we go for a walk or maybe get out for another errand. Depending on noon nap her afternoon naps are usually cat naps. Longer if noon nap sucked.
430 DH and DS get home. 430-530 family walk. DD is worn or in stroller and sometimes catnaps.
530-7 keep DS (he's two) fed and happy. Lots of family time outside.
6-9 is her witching hours. Very fussy if not fussy screaming. DH and I take turns with her, get DS to bed around 730. Eat adult dinner in shifts. Lots of nursing, bouncing, shushing, rocking and other tactics to try to get her to sleep
9ish baby starts long stretch of sleep. Mommy goes to sleep.
Wakes to nurse somewhere between midnight and 2. Then 4-5ish. Then 6am is nursing and half asleep till actually ready to be fully awake.
I am sure it will all change just as we are getting used to this...:)
I get up with DS (2.5) around 8. He naps at 2-ish. We try to have him in bed before 9:30. We have our meals and snacks at pretty typical times and we usually play or go for a walk in the evening.
We're pretty flexible so the baby's schedule fits right in. I feed her on demand every 2-3 hours around the clock, and she falls asleep when she's tired. She's 5 weeks old and still has her days and nights mixed up so we have a little trouble between 11 pm and 1 am, but nothing major.
I've never tried too hard to keep a tight schedule. We have a certain loose order to our day, but things don't always happen at the same time. I usually just let the kids lead.
