Hi everyone! I got the BFP I was hoping for on 6/12/14, the day before DH and I left for our 10 day vacation. My pure excitement lasted about 24 hours before the fear kicked in. All the PGAL mantras have really helped me out over the last two weeks, especially the one about how fear today cannot prevent sorrow tomorrow, only take away joy today (or something like that) Throughout my trip I have been lurking on PGAL and my BMB, but I think that it is finally time to say hello now that I am back at home at my computer.
Anyway, I am an Optometrist, DH is an electrical engineer and we live in Massachusetts. We are hoping for our first take home baby to help fill our dream home that we purchased last year with the hope of starting a family.
Special thanks to all the wonderful women on TTCAL who have helped keep me sane over the past six months. I don't know what I would have done without you. I am hoping and praying that I see you all over here as soon as possible.
