What a surprise!

I just had to share! My mom came down for a visit last Thursday, and we've been spending time together. A friend had invited us to a Scentsy party on Tuesday and my mom said she wanted to go. I had never been to a Scentsy party - but a lot of people in the military seem to sell it and I don't know a lot of people around this area so I was looking forward to it.
My friend comes and greets me outside, which I didn't think anything of as I had just text her to let her know we were running a few minutes late but would be there soon. We walk inside, and everyone is standing around the kitchen and they all yell "Surprise!" I totally walked into my own surprise baby shower!
I've never had a surprise before! Especially by people I don't even know! I really only knew 3 of the girls there, and the rest I had never met.
It's amazing what military spouses do for others. I'm so grateful to have friends that are so caring and selfless.
My mom was in on the surprise the whole time. They planned it so that she would be here when it happened, even though my mom is having a shower for me in August back home.

What a great surprise!!
They were amazing - two of them went in on a carseat, someone got us a Bumbo seat, and of course a few onesies. Someone even bought us a diaper sprayer since we're cloth diapering, and 2 of the girls I knew bought us some cloth diapers! I was in a daze the entire time, I was just in shock and so surprised. So sweet of them. I'll never forget them!
Oh and everyone decorated a onesie!

If I were to walk in on a surprise baby shower, I'm sure I'll bust out in tears.
