Miscarriage/Pregnancy Loss

Feeling different?

Got blood work done and stopped bleeding, doctor is still undecided if I had a partial m/c and need a d/c..I'm so frustrated and anxious I started having heart palpitations today. I try to keep it together but my body betrays me..started drinking decaf raspberry leaf tea that's supposed to tone your uterus and help with pain etc..it feels great and I highly reccommend, it's at Whole Foods and many stores under the brand traditional medicinals (organic)..also started taking royal jelly that's known for improving egg quality..I realize I'm "reaching" but I suppose what's the worst that can happen at this point? Might as well start taking better care of myself and by the way, what's up with all the renewed energy? Have you guys experienced an energy spike after a m/c? It's like I'm super woman all of the sudden.

Not to be a downer, but there is no actual evidence that royal jelly does anything helpful as far as egg quality is concerned. As for the red raspberry leaf tea, you should really talk to your doctor about that and get his/her approval before using something like that. It has plenty of associated risks and your doctor should definitely be aware of it before you risk anything.

I totally understand wanting to do everything possible to make things work out. I really do. But there are better and worse ways of going about it. I'm exhausted right now (so much for that awesome energy spike you speak of!!) and can't really be much more help. But defiintely ask your doctor/midwife their opinion on the red raspberry leaf tea before  you start using it.

I'm so sorry you're still stuck in limbo with your loss. It really is an awful place to be. I hope things get sorted out soon so you can begin to move on. Good luck.
