S/O bday menu...

For Coopera bday we are doing an ice cream party with all sorts of toppings and cones. It's at two also. I'm wondering if we should also have food? I wasn't planning on chips or cheese or anything but now I'm wondering of we should?? What if someone doesn't want ice cream!? What would y'all suggest to do or expect to have at an ice cream party?

I think it would be nice to have some snacky finger foods too. I know with both DH and I if we don't have some "real" food with sweets we tend to feel sick especially in the heat. So If I were a guest I would apppriciate something lite with my ice cream.
