Hypnobirthing/ natal hypnotherapy

Has anyone else looked in to this? I have just brought the book n cd waiting for them to come through the post, think it might b worth giving a go. Unfortunately we cant make the lessons because i work shifts but if we could i would do them. Anyone had any previous experience? Planning to give it a try?

I took a hypnobirthing class with my first pregnancy and was able to use the techniques I learned during my labor. I can confidently say that hypnobirthing definitely helped me have the med-free labor and delivery I wanted. I would start reading the book/taking classes ASAP so you have enough time to practice all of the relaxation techniques you'll learn.

    All of this!
I swear by Hypnobirthing ! I'm using it again this time around. I took the classes and read the book. For me what also helped was having someone there including my husband. Also making sure everyone involved with the birth knew how important it was for me to have a med free delivery! My poor husband as much as he tried wasn't much help. He'd be the first to tell you that he just didn't know what to do to help.

I'm so excited to be starting hypnobirthing classes in a few weeks! Hubby is a little WTF but I will get him on board LOL

I couldn't find any classes in my area or that fit or schedule as we both work shifts. Then I met an awesome doula who offered to give us private lessons for the group price. YAY!
