Just got back from vacation to find that our freezer died, taking with it my ENTIRE freezer stash :(

PS-and DH felt the need to say it wasn't a big deal and I could replace it. To which I suggested maybe he should pump to replace it and punched him in the face(not really)

    Dx: balanced translocation and LPD

    TTC since Oct 2011

    BPF 02/19/12, EDD 10/31/12, natural m/c 02/28/12 (4w6d)

    IVF (BCPs starting 10/30/12, ER 11/18/12, 5dt of 1 beautiful, healthy embryo 11/23/12)
    BFP 12/02/12, u/s @ 6w,5d showed 2 HBs! Identical twins!!
    Bed rest from 21w-35w due to short cervix, hospital bed rest from 23w-32w due to PTL
    Our rainbows were born 07/19/13 (36w, 5d)

    Ugh, that's terrible! What a way to end a vacation. DHs just don't get it. They can try to understand, but they will never truly get it. GL rebuilding your stash.

    So sorry!  I know how devastated I've been when I've lost a day's worth of pumping because I forgot to take it out of my pump after work, or another day it all spilled out somehow....but the entire freezer!  Ouch!

    that sucks! :( that was always one of my fears when the power went out.

    P.S. i'm love-it-ing the part about suggesting your H pump to replace it. seriously. they just don't get it sometimes.

    TTC #1 since 2007. Dx: Unexplained infertility. 4 IUIs in 2008 = BFN. IVF #1 07/09. DD #1 born April 2010 (40w5d).
    TTC #2 since 2011. Dx: Endometriosis and hypothyroidism. 2 FETs in 2012, BFP 6/12 but m/c @ 7 weeks. IVF #2 06/13. DD #2  born March 2014 (40w1d).

    I cried two nights ago when my husband spilled 4 ounces. I can't imagine losing the freezer stash. Sorry.

    Oh no. I would cry so damn hard. I once accidentally knocked a pumping bottle over with my elbow. DH actually looked at me and told me not to cry over spilled milk. I'm not sure he understood how close he came to pushing me over the edge. Yes I cried. When you have low supply every little drop is gold.

    You have my sincere condolences. This would devastate me. Hugs.

    I'm so sorry - I just posted the other day about crying over 1.5 ounces of milk.  I literally can't imagine what I would do if what little freezer stash I had was gone.  

    Good luck replacing it - and I agree with your statement to your husband... they just don't get it!
