Two failed clomid cycles (made lining too thin)
Started acupuncture while saving for IVF in Sept 2011
Add herbal infusions to the mix in Dec 2011

QOTW: We have a long and difficult to read/spell last name. So we wanted a name that was common enough that people would be able to read it and spell it without having to ask. But we didn't want to name that everybody else has. So we chose kind of a "old man" named. It's strong and solid and presidential. And people can spell it no problem! People often ask if it's a family name, but ultimately, we just liked it.
G's name is British in origin and we picked it when we were living in London. His middle name is after my uncle.
TTC#1 May 2009- July 2010 on our own with no luck
Started with RE in August 2010, dx with unexplained IF and then finally our 3rd IUI cycle using Follistim and Trigger resulted in our wonderful little man. Born 12/2/11
TTC#2 Never really prevented, but were careful early on as Dr. reccomended
Surprise BFP 12/16/13, started progesterone immediately as first numbers came back low, but betas were good. Progesterone wasnt enough. Natural MC 12/24/13.
Back with RE as of January 2014...

How did you pick your kid's name? You don't have to share the name if you don't want to, of course, but what was the thought process behind selecting it? We swore she was a boy, and had decided to call him Jovani- it was important to have a name that could work in both our Italian and Mexican cultures, Jovanni is the more hispanic version of Giovanni- When we found out she was a girl, we tossed around a couple names, and just decided on Natalia for the same reasons- it works in Italian and Mexican.

QOTW: we wanted a name that was not popular. but it had to be easily pronounced because our last name is heinous. we read that entire list of baby names and really only came up with 3 that we liked. narrowed it down to 2 by week 39 and suddenly everyone was naming their kid Mason so we eliminated that one and ta da, Kellen.

My daughter is Laurel. She's named after the mountains and the beautiful mountain laurels that grow all over the smoky mountains. That is where DH and I fell in love and our favorite place to be.

CD: 10. Going in for monitoring tomorrow morning for IUI #2. Am guessing I will trigger tomorrow night and go in for the IUI on Sunday.
Name: We are huge Deadheads and Jerry Garcia named one of his daughters the name we picked. That, and I just liked it.
