I'm using the shot as birth control and dh said last I shouldn't bother getting the next shot next week. Hmmm I didn't realize he was ready for another already. It has crossed my mind a lot lately.

Hell to the no. I had a good pregnancy and I have a wonderful happy baby, but I do NOT want another now, nor do I have any desire to be pregnant again anytime soon. We think we'll start trying again when DD is 2.
My sister has a 3 week old, BFF just got a BFP and I'm impatiently waiting for December so I can start TTC. Maternity leave in the fall worked out well for my job so shooting for the same this time around. I am trying to lose 20lbs before then. We shall see which happens first. LOL
We've been thinking about it. Our plan is once DD hits 1 year. That way the next lo will be born around summer break time so we will get close to 2 months off and I won't have to take unpaid maternity leave again. It's just so scary. I don't know if we are ready for another…some days I still feel like I'm not ready to take on the one we have…BUT I saw my nephew who is about 6 weeks old a couple of weeks a go and it sparked that baby fever!
We really, really want three but need a little break. I like the idea of my kids being 4 & 6 when we have a third, but that would make me 36 or 37 when we start TTC next and DH thinks we should try sooner.
Plan is to wait until dec and then start trying. My only reservation is I am hoping to bf 2 years and would like a little break to have my body back before baby2. Sooo maybe we will stop not trying in dec and then start really trying after we are done BF

Thanks for your responses its good to know I am not alone It was DH that came out with the idea first. I have PCOS and so I heard getting pregnant will be hard even though it took us 6 months the first time around. I am working on my masters and taking care of DS so I figured its good to fit in another baby before I finish school. I had an easy pregnancy and an awesome birth so I am not concerned, although I know every baby is different and every pregnancy is different. I just have terrible morning sicknes for at least 4 to 5 months that will fall in the same time as teething hmmm (9 months and no teeth for us) this might be fun!
We toy with the idea of trying at the end of summer, but D has been keeping my hands full it makes me tired just thinking about it. If no teaching jobs pan out, we may give it a go!

18 weeks pregnant now. They will be 14 months apart. Certainly not planned but exciting!
Congrats! I didn't recognize your SN but I remember your picture from back in the day. I am so happy for you and I hope you are off to a great pregnancy
If our situation was a bit more stable then I would get preg as soon as I reached 2 years post CS. I really want a VBAC. I am 32 this year and the clock is definitely ticking. But I am starting school in Sept and on top of that we won't be able to afford a house for about 4 more years. So after I get settled in a new career and we can get a house (or minimum a bigger apartment) then we'll start trying for baby #2. I always wanted to have them close together but life didn't work out that way.

This! We will try before she's 2 but only because I'm 33 and want to be done having babies by 35.
I'm actually having a hard time with this bc it took us so long to have LO (thanks IF!) that starting to TTC makes sense right now. I think the only thing holding us back from trying is the HCOLA we live in. So basically financial reasons. I have training that I am attending next month that should help me get promoted so maybe we'll ttc by then.

I'm afraid of pregnancy again. I need time to forget how hard it was, if that's even possible. Mind you I do think about having another LO a lot!
