Sister for Jack? Down to 2 Names...

Hello, expecting a girl in August and have been debating between two names, Charlotte and Ella. MN will be Grace. I know this is considered a "filler," but I love it and am OK with it. Last name is similar to DuBourg.

I have a DS named Jack and am looking for a feminine, classic, pretty name that goes with it. Which of the two do you think is a better fit stylistically? Which do you like better?

Some things I keep tossing around are that perhaps Ella is a bit done and on its way out, although I love it. I love Charlotte too and am starting to see it everywhere. Popularity doesn't matter to me too much but I don't want to be on the tail end of an "out" trending name. Thoughts?

I have a Charlotte Elise, so I'm partial to Charlotte. Popularity doesn't bother me (of course, Charlotte wasn't even in the top 100 when we named dd, so you never know!) I think Jack and Charlotte make a very nice sibset!

I agree, I love Charlotte and think it goes really nicely with Jack!! I also love Charlotte Grace together, such a pretty name!!!

I will sound like a jerk but to me Ella Grace is so generic, right there with Emma Rose, both are gorgeous, but they are so overdone they have lost their shine (to me). I do like Charlotte.

Tough one! I have a little girl who goes by Ellie so I am partial to names that sound like gets. That being said I choose Charlotte because you have the option for her to shorten it.

I like Ella but I love Charlotte! Jack and Charlotte sound like siblings in kids mystery series or something. I really like it.

Charlotte is MUCH better than Ella. I am not a fan of Ella, Ellie, Elle, etc. A friend of mine just named her daughter Ellie and I always feel like I'm not saying it right? I know that may sound weird but I can't really explain it, and my husband always calls her Lilly by accident (pretty embarrassing for all parties involved). We see them all the time so it's not that. I just feel like it's not "complete"? I guess that's the best way I can say it. That, and the fact that I don't think it's a very strong name. Again, IMO!

My name is Ella, and I'm 25, haha.

I think Charlotte Grace sounds better than Ella Grace, that being said.
