Bump on head right before pictures

I haven't been on much because I've been too worried about this stupid brown spotting scare that I've been dealing with for about a week now. In the meantime, my family is rather entertaining and I thought I'd share what some of you with little ones have to look forward to as your kiddos reach teenagerhood.

Seriously. My kid is nuts. The older he gets (he's 11), the weirder he gets. Today, probably because he wants something, he was helping DH in the yard. He saw a rake laying in the yard and thought "Hey, there's a rake. I should stomp on the prongs as hard as I can and see if I can catch it before it smacks my head." Who in the hell does that?

Clearly, he needs to work on his reflexes. The thing flew and smacked him so hard in the forehead.  Instant goose egg and it's now turning a lovely shade of purple.

And, moving family pictures. Why do these things always happen right before school and family pics? The last time I had scheduled pics (YEARS ago. Sad story) he was pretending he was an old blind man and put his hood from his hoodie over his head and walked around the yard. Eventually, he tripped, fell, smacked his face on a sandbox and required 4 stiches under his nose.
