Banana Baby

Oh...hi :) It's been a while so I thought I'd update on banana baby...

Banana baby was born February 15, 2014. Labour was stupid...water broke, no contractions. Transfer care from midwife to physician after 12 hours, start Pitocin...no contractions for 8 hours. Start epi just in case, no contractions. Got itchy from epi, requested Benadryl. Dr. checks my dilation, 2 cm. Try to sleep...30 minutes later, I'm 10cm and "shitting out a baby". Fasted labour ever once it actually got started.

Twist ending: it wasn't a banana :) we call him Ike.
