I saw an 11 month old baby girl at Gymboree open gym the other day wearing gold studs and a gold chain bracelet. I think jewelry on babies looks ridiculous and tacky.
I don't think it's right that homeless animals get more concern than our homeless Vets. Yeah, I don't think any of it is right, but people who fought for is, lived and watched their friends die doing the same get less concern than stray cats. I don't get that.

@4RingCircus - Both are hot...Hello, that scene in the Proposal? Whoa... However, I've loved Burt for so long now, though, that I can't ever give that up. (Early Burt, not slightly creepy, older Burt).

I side-eye my friends who pierce their infant daughters' ears. They say it's better because they won't remember it happening and they'll want it anyway. What if your kid's a tomboy and doesn't want pierced ears?
We will find out our gender right around my birthday, so I was going to combine them bc my inlaws are super big into them. Since our second child and no shower- I figure this makes them happy, one less party to have to deal w and hell- cake. Lmbo. Otherwise probably wouldn't do.

My ears have been pierced 4 times. The 1st time I was one. I guess I use to wrap my little pony's tail around them & they kept getting infected. I chose to pierce them again when I was 12 after we figured out I am allergic to anything under 14k gold. Darn expensive ears.

I really don't think it does get more attention, but neither get the attention they deserve. Homelessness, vet or not, is a huge largely ignored issue. The statistics on homeless children are disturbing.

I really don't like sayings on maternity shirts...or what I mean to say, I think it's stupid that women who are pregnant WANT these sayings on their shirts. Yea, we know your pregnant, your excited, etc., but you don't need to announce it to everyone.

AGREE!!!! I'm totally considering a shirt with a pumpkin or jack o'lantern for Halloween though... Hopefully will be sporting a nice bump by then...

I think dressing up for Halloween and having a shirt like what you mentioned is totally fine, it's just when you randomly see women wearing shirts like the ones above I don't like.
@Beary+Ghastly the only one I've ever seen that I likes had a loading bar and said "please be patient". I had a coworker who wore that as she got close to her due date.

I agree, but from what I've seen on TB, this isn't a UO around here
Ok, so a lot of those pregnant t-shorts bother me too- but I did just get a few bc I made one for myself last time w a 1-up mushroom and I loved it and never really saw anyone w that, I also got this one- bc, well, baby dust and unicorns lmao https://www.cafepress.com/mf/76627322/cute-unicorn-fart-toot_maternity?productId=742326338 Also I'm a big geek and am making one Doctor Who related. :-B

I love second baby showers. I might give a little side eye to 3rd plus (unless it's the first of either sex) but unless you're throwing it yourself... I'll be there squealing over the cuteness
Late to the party, but I don't mind words like preggers, prego, etc. in moderation, dislike gender reveal parties, want pierced ears to be something my kid has to look forward to (and earn as a privilege maybe), enjoy second baby showers as long as they're not overtly gift grabby (it's a second kid, not a second marriage), and dislike all gimmicky t-shirts (maternity or otherwise).
My UO, I think dresses and skirts are more comfortable than pants and shorts. It's fine if its not your personal style, but I don't understand anyone who refuses to wear a dress due to the comfort factor.

I see no problem with a shower for a second wedding, particularly if it isn't a second for both. I certainly don't see it as somehow worse than a second baby shower.
Also, pants vs skirts: chub rub and sweaty thighs aren't comfortable.

I live in empire waist dresses all summer long. Anything else is too hot. I can get the discomfort factor of thighs rubbing together; I have it too. What I don't get is women who don't wear dresses because they think they are unflattering. To me, dresses are so much easier to get a good, attractive fit in.

Truthfully, I don't have a problem with a shower for a second wedding either. I'm fully on board for a second bachelorette party. I support drinking and debauchery.

This annoys me too... "we're 'Expecting'" I hate that term too..
Acronyms.. I'm sure it's an unpopular opinion here.. but I hate acronyms!

--------------- As an educator, I am so sick of acronyms, but they do serve their purpose. What I hate is when they are used incorrectly. Acronyms are not arbitrary, people, those letters stand for words, so the order matters. I can't tell you how often I see people say "My OU is..." It drives me fucking batty. Your opinion unpopular? Nope.

What if I do it to be especially obnoxious? (; like using the word "totes"
Only if you use both together. Like, totes pregotes.
