I figured I could help out and start our weekly check-in this week.

Still just "playing it by ear". So far, just charting.
I am at CD9 and am excited about this cycle because now that I've been off BC for 2 months, I have a better understanding of my cycle days and can do a better job of timing this month!

QOTW: It's Summer! What are some of the things you're looking forward to doing this summer?

I live in Florida and pretty much despise summer (because it's hotter than Hates here). However, I am looking forward to a busy summer.
A. Planning a surprise birthday party for my hubby the 2nd week of July.
B. Definitely more beach time (and a tan),
C. I've got a trip in July to meet several internet friends from around the US I met on TK when we were planning our weddings.
D. And in September I'm flying to Seattle to see my brother/niece -- haven't seen her since xmas.

3. What are you doing this cycle? Are you seeking help with a fertility specialist (RE)? If so, what stage are you in? Charting/temping? Testing? Medicated cycles? IUI? IVF? DE? This is my first cycle with Letrozole and I feel like death warmed over.

4. Where are you in your cycle? (Waiting to O, 2WW etc) If in the 2ww when will you test? Experiencing any weird "phantom" symptoms ladies in your 2ww? I'm at CD3.

5. How do you feel about this cycle? (Are you hopeful, anxious... etc) I really, really want this to be my cycle. I know in the grand scheme of things, letrozole isn't a big intervention. But I just feel so sick.

I also feel resentful because DH grumps about missing work for my CD10 ultrasound (we share a car so he has to drive me). Like, dude, I don't control when Aunt Flo shows up, ergo, I don't control when I have to go to the RE. It would be nice, just once, to hear something like, "Hey, this sucks, I appreciate what you're going through so we can have a kid," instead of complaints about the inconvenience of it all. It makes me feel unappreciated.

QOTW: It's Summer! What are some of the things you're looking forward to doing this summer? I'm looking forward to Artscape, which is a big festival in my neighborhood in Baltimore. I'm also psyched to help my friend plan her wedding, even though I feel a little odd being a bridesmaid since I haven't been in a wedding in a decade.

QOTW: It's Summer! What are some of the things you're looking forward to doing this summer? I love the heat and the sun, being outdoors with my boys at the pool... really nothing exciting planned due to finances but I'll take the longer lazy days

Thanks @kelley72 - I just really want DH to say he appreciates what I'm doing here. I'm tired of hearing that if we just "carpet bomb," ie, have sex all the bloody time, that I'll magically become pregnant. I'm not taking drugs and getting HSGs and bloodwork for entertainment value.

4. Where are you in your cycle? (Waiting to O, 2WW etc) If in the 2ww when will you test? Experiencing any weird "phantom" symptoms ladies in your 2ww? I am CD 6. Last cycle's BFN coincided with getting older so that sucked.

5. How do you feel about this cycle? (Are you hopeful, anxious... etc) Ugh, I am stressed because I won't see my H until CD 18 since I am working out of town. I really hope I don't O before then. Last cycle I O'd on CD 22 but other cycles have been CD 16-18. I really hope we get a chance to at least try.

QOTW: It's Summer! What are some of the things you're looking forward to doing this summer?
We are trying to save money this summer so no big summery plans. I love wearing my shorts and sundresses.

@austrogermokee, I'm sorry your husband is not being more supportive. Very frustrating. TTC is no joke and is serious work. I hope you'll get to a place where you can tell him how you feel and he'll turn it around.

2. TTC #1 off and on mixed with NTNP, and a couple of benchings for a couple of years

3. Just had my follow-up with my RE yesterday where he went over all the results of my diagnostic tests/blood work, which showed I'm negative for diseases I've never even heard of, which is good. But confirmed what I knew when I went in, which is that my problem is just my age. When the RE got to the results of DH's semen analysis, I think he actually used the term "super sperm", which although was a nice ego boost for DH, reminded me how unfair it is that age is not even a second thought for him (at almost 43), and of course made me feel guilty that it's all on me (although he would never think that way)

4. Expecting AF any day now

5. Not feeling hopeful about this cycle, but you never know

QOTW: It's our anniversary this Saturday, so I'm looking forward to some quality down time together where we don't think about or talk about TTC!

I think he's resentful that we didn't start trying earlier, and he's brought it up a few times. But first I wanted us to settle into marriage, then we were living in different cities for work plus I was dealing with health issues. I didn't want to go through pregnancy while basically living alone. We discussed these things at length, I wasn't just randomly and silently holding back from TTC. The timing only became right last year.

Overall, he has this idea that anything health-related should be simple and uncomplicated. So he doesn't understand why I have to take the drugs or use OPKs. He thinks that if he gets laid often enough, then we're good and a baby will magically follow. (Never mind that by the time we actually hit my FW, we're both out of steam and sick to death of doing it.)

I know I'm being unfair because I feel like crap and want to hurl, but dang - is it so hard to say that he appreciates what I'm doing?

Just finished all the testing necessary for insurance to cover RE referral; need to make appointment. For this cycle, I have stopped temping, charting, and using most of the supplements I was taking. I am using opks.

4. Where are you in your cycle? (Waiting to O, 2WW etc) If in the 2ww when will you test? Experiencing any weird "phantom" symptoms ladies in your 2ww?
CD 11--first day of Sex Week.

5. How do you feel about this cycle? (Are you hopeful, anxious... etc)
Grumpy as all hell. I really don't believe (right now, anyway) that it's going to happen.

Just temping for now

2WW (8 DPO), will test at 18 DPO, if BBT is still high

I can come up with phantom symptoms any day of the month

Right now I have ovarian twinges (or gas?) and some fatigue (or remnants of the flu?). My hormones also feel a little different for the luteal phase - I feel happier when I would be moody normally.

5. How do you feel about this cycle? (Are you hopeful, anxious... etc)
Mostly aloof and a little hopeful. I find it easier to cope with AF if I don't get too excited.

QOTW: It's Summer! What are some of the things you're looking forward to doing this summer?

I am looking forward to getting more exercise, getting the carpets changed and finally getting around to our west Texas camping vacation.

1. Meredith from FL 2. TTC#1 (take 2) since beginning of June 3. Nothing special. We only had intercourse 1 during my FW (and it was barely in my FW) so I am not holding my breath (but I kind of am at the same time - hope springs eternal I guess). 4. CD27 so AF is due. If I don't get AF by Friday I will POAS Saturday morning. I can say I have written this cycle off, but I am still totally analyzing everything. My boobs are a little sore, I haven't broken out like usual, yet. Was that a cramp? Maybe? Sigh. 5. I am slightly hopeful, but mainly realistic that we did not really set ourselves up for success this month. I wasn't 100% comfortable venturing off the bench, but since the beginning of the month I have become more inclined to give it my all going forward. QOTW: (I almost forgot!) it is almost always summer in FL, so nothing makes it particularly special here. I used to really love going to my grandmother's house on Lake Michigan, though.

Cycle Status: NEW PLAN! One day work up at CCRM in Colorado mid July with Dr. Sch. So now we are looking at an IVF cycle start date of August with IVF/ICSI/PESA in September and then CCS testing and a FET in October.

Feeling utter sticker shock but some hope.

@gabbagal - It's my wedding anniversary on Saturday too!! 11 years!

3. Just going off of my Ovia app at this point.

4. I am on CD16 - In my FW so we've been doin' the deed. I've even taken to "lettin' it marinate" a little, even though I am grossed out by "the juice." LoL
I had pretty bad cramps on Saturday, but my app didn't show me ovulating until Tuesday? If nothing happens this month, I definitely plan on starting to use OPK's.

5. As weird as it may sound, I'm not anything .. not hopeful, not pessimistic. Just gonna wait and see what happens.

QOTW: This weekend, we are going to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk for our 11 year anniverdary. We are taking DD with us. We are looking forward to it and know that she will have a blast!
As far as summer plans, we have a wedding on July 5th, but the bride has turned into a raging bridezilla and is about to call off the wedding because the poor guy went to a strip club and she can't handle it. Come on! You guys live together. You have a child together. He's marrying YOU! Get over your insecurities already!! My DH went to that bachelor party over the weekend because he is friends with the groom. It's just ridiculous!
My DH's little brother is also having a "knot tying" ceremony in August, so that is on the agenda.
Other than that, maybe a trip down to Southern California to see family.
I also plan on spending a lot of time at the pool. I love to bake while I read.

Going to see a new RE on Friday. Finally ready to bite the bullet and and move on to IVF. Stilling seeing an acupuncturist and taking Chinese herbs to help improve egg quality. I have a special blend coming this week. Should be interesting to take in a non-capsule form.

I'm nervous to hear what this new doctor has to say, but I'm ready to do this thing. I need finality.
QOTW: I wanted to remodel my kitchen this summer but that savings will now go to IVF. So, stay-cations it is!

Kindershlitz/MI 2. Ttc #2 august '13 3-4 cycle 11 is a bust spotting, so expect AF tomorrow, bfn. Had an appointment today given rx for progesterone due to short lp, will be doing two months of that. 5. Not greatly optimistic as dh will be traveling during two prime days but I guess we will get the front beginning and end of the fw. 6. Going up north with family and friends on a couple occasions ( ranked most beautiful place in US, I think last year). It's beautiful for sure!

I found out about the MMC last week. I have been waiting to see if I'll miscarry naturally, but I may call to discuss a d&c in the next couple of days. I just don't know where I want to go from here. I think I am going to concentrate on weight loss and health for a while.

We just started our priming cycle for IVF! Friday is the mock transfer & hysteroscopy (sp?)

Hopefull! This is the 6th month so this will be telling to me on an emotional level.

I'm going on vacation tomorrow through the 4th! Road trip up to Vermont and NH! And later, in August, we're going on a road trip to Maine.

I want to get working on quilting and doing my crafts. Eating yummy fresh food.

Just starting to TTC again for #1 after 10/13 MC & 7 months of getting healthy

I think yesterday or today is O day (or maybe first day of 2WW)! I'm not sure, since this is really the first time I've ever felt anything during my FW. I had pain & pressure for past 2 days, but it just stopped this afternoon and my CM has calmed down some. "Sex Week" has been exhausting! And I think we're supposed to DTD today too!

5. How do you feel about this cycle? (Are you hopeful, anxious... etc)
I'm quite anxious and excited, feeling good and healthy and of very high spirits, so we shall see...

QOTW: It's Summer! What are some of the things you're looking forward to doing this summer? Trying to stay cool, I can't stand anything over 80 degrees! But I do love swimming. We're in super saving / paying off debt mode, so nothing fun planned (that costs money, anyway). So, swimming and maybe painting. I do love the spring/summer fruits though, blueberries and strawberries are huge right now! And love watermelon too.

5. I don't have any hopes for this cycle because DH came home from traveling on CD19. We had sex on the morning, but I seriously doubt the egg was still hanging out.

QOTW: I'm looking forward to summer fruits and vegetables. Also, San Francisco has a fun tradition where certain neighborhoods block off streets on the weekend and have vendors and bikes. I enjoy those.

Hi ladies,

we're not TTC for a little while but just saying hi..

The whole grief part of the miscarriage really hit me this week. I think it was getting my period that did it. I'd been so caught up in the, "hoorah I didn't die" aspect that I hadn't been too upset by the loss. Now that I've processed the trauma to some degree, I've been feeling really sad.

A student at school was all excited about her Mum finding out the sex of her baby (she'd just had the 20 week scan) and said how she had the scan pic with her. So I asked to see it because clearly this girl wanted to show it off. I oohed and aahed over it because well babies are a joy and I love frigging love scan pictures, but I would have been 19 weeks this week so I was biting the inside of my cheek a little.

That aside, I am now officially obese, so operation, "stop choosing to be so fat" has begun. Making pretty good progress. Mostly just stopping some bad habits of scoffing packets of biscuits and downing glasses of wine once the girls are in bed.

Anyway that's me. It's winter here, but our winters are mild so nothing too much to complain about...in fact enjoying the chance to really reflect and do some reading and getting rid of some clutter from the house.

Charting a little, taking Vitex, Pre-natals, accupunture, going in to get blood drawn to see if everything is okay

12DPO - tested this morning, BFN

I wasn't really confident in this cycle anyways, since we didn't BD at the "optimal" day due to traveling. But super achy boobs and cramping on BOTH sides...well I thought there was a chance. Maybe still one, but thinking not with the BFN.

Blah. Slight hope, but not much.
