  Two weeks along = roughly the date of conception in which case you wouldn't turn a pregnancy test positive. I think you could be dealing with a terminology disconnect here (which is odd coming from the Dr's office!)
  
  You took a test today and you are currently pregnant. Stick with that unless you hear otherwise.

  I agree with above. You're already 2 weeks the moment you conceive, the nurse seems off. Try not to worry now. You're turning tests positive, you're pregnant. Maybe she thinks you meant you thought you're 4 weeks post conception or 6 weeks.

  Your comment on being 2 vs 4 weeks pg confuses me though. In a "normal" cycle you are ovulating when you're "2 weeks" along. And at 4 weeks your hcg can be very low! Are you having a 2nd draw in 48 hours? The numbers need to start somewhere so all that matters is that they are doubling! Good luck!

  Thank you all! @wendyld and @janda426, let's hope you are right and it's terminology confusion... @jap618 - I agree! I reported to the nurse my LMP and the weeks I think I am, based on LMP. I wasn't temping (was planning to start next cycle), so I don't know exactly when I ovulated and who knows what effect the previous cycle's CP may have had. Per Dr. Google, I could be anywhere from 5 to 7,000+ with my hCG level in a normal pregnancy! Hopefully they will call back and say come in Monday for a second draw.

  Okay.. She called back. Doc says same thing -- looks like I'm very early pregnant. My progesterone level looks good. I'll go back in Tuesday (I already have an appointment scheduled) and do another blood draw before that appointment. I asked what the hCG level was. She reported 372. That doesn't sound crazy for where I am, which is 4-5 weeks since LMP (I have a 29-30 day cycle, normally).
  
  I am feeling better now. Also, I promise I'm not trying to be a drama llama, but dude... this is intense. I think (hope) they freaked me out for no reason!

  I agree, I think the number seems fine. And as long as they're doubling (which unfortunately you have to wait and see) that's all that matters! FX for your next blood draw

  Shame on your nurse for scaring you like that!  If you're anything like me, you're feeling tenuous and nervous already - why add to that by saying your numbers look "very low"?  I'm blowing a raspberry at her from Indiana.

  I'm glad you got a good update from your doctor.  372 is a good number, especially if you aren't exactly sure when you ovulated FX for your next beta!  I'm awaiting my beta, too, for Monday.  I had one yesterday at 11 DPO and it was 20 - not abnormal from my understanding.  I've been peeing on my sticks still and they're getting darker.  That's offering me some comfort through the waiting.

  @MrsLaurenandDan -- It was 372... not TOO low... Of course Dr. Google tells me the reason for a low hCG number could be an ectopic pregnancy... or it could be a boy (apparently boys measure lower than girls?). Someone tell me to back away from the Google, please...

  not to confuse you, but I think the nurse probably misunderstood you. When she means 2 weeks, she could very well be referring to the time of conception, up until now, which is roughly 2 weeks. What numbers did she give you? I know when I got my first blood draw I wasn't even 4 weeks yet, and it was something like 13mlU/hCG. The Dr. was even joking with me and told me I've only been pregnant for a minute.

  If it makes you feel better. My levels were over 400 yesterday at 15dpo. My nurse was very positive and optimistic about it. They were over 100 on Monday. I say you're good and you'll stay good.

  @wendyld - I may... I found out today that the normal prenatal nurse was out that afternoon they called with the results, so it was a different nurse. I spoke with the normal nurse today and she was great.
