Hi everyone,
Some of you may have read my recent post about dealing with a possible pregnancy discrimination associated with a demotion at my job.
Obviously the most important thing is making sure our little guy is okay. So I wanted to make this separate post about a possibly stress-related issue that has popped up.
Since dealing with the level of high stress this week I have been experiencing diarrhea. Not horrible...I mean, no soiling myself or having to get to a bathroom like lightning kind of thing. But it's happening 1-2x/day and is rather loose. I have a history of this when stressed, but of course I've never also been pregnant during it!
Any advice? I am 26 weeks. Anyone else had diarrhea during this stage? I am not cramping. I do not have any soreness or pains. Baby is still kicking throughout the day, although he has shifted positions and the kicks are a little muffled (I have an anterior placenta)...horrible timing on that to make me worry even more haha.
Thanks in advance for any advice/thoughts.
Re: Effects of stress on pregnancy/associated with stomach issues?
Keep in touch with your body and your baby. It's reassuring to feel those kicks during the day and lets me know that baby girl is handling things just fine.

@meganmccr this sounds like the way I used to be before I found out I was gluten intolerant. Since going on a 100% gluten free diet I feel like a completely different person!! Have you looked into gluten sensitivity? It might be worth a shot.
