Hi Girls!

I just wanted to say thank you for all the help you've all given me over the last 4 months! I finally feel like i'm at a point where I'm enjoying breastfeeding and I'm comfortable with it and i'm so glad that i stuck it out. I don't think i would have gotten to this point without this board! In fact, I gave up less than 2 months in with my frst and have regretted that ever since!

LO is 4 months old and the dr. is beyond thrilled with his growth. Pumping is going well too! 

Not every day is perfect but it's become so much better and I'm so happy to be nursing! 

LO has started a game which makes my heart melt (though it can also be furstrating if I'm in a rush). When he's done, he'll suck once or twice and then pull back and give me a big smile and then suck again and pull back etc. It's the absolute cutest thing I've ever seen and I look forward to those games! He'll even giggle sometimes!

I started out hoping to get to a year but now I'm thinking that I'll just stop pumping at a year but continue nursing as long as I can when i'm with him. I can't picture giving this up without a fight! 

Anyway, sine the last few days have been really good days, I wanted to come on here and say thanks! I know i'll have some new challenges to face soon (like the tooth that's about to break through) but it's all worth it!

    the special bonding time is my favorite part of BFing even though the sessions can last about an hour sometimes. my LO will smile so big at me sometimes she unlatches.  i think it's the cutest thing ever too. :)  DH is super jealous.  i jokingly told him he should start BFing too so we can take turns. 

    i'm glad to hear you are in a groove now. i'm hoping i get into one soon too!

    Exactly! After a few (relatively minor) bumps in the road, I finally look forward to nursing him! I'm even a little sad when he gets a bottle. 

    Goodluck Peanutz21! After heading so many say that it gets easier after 6 weeks but not getting any relief at even 12 weeks I was so skeptical but i'm finally there! (Though we'll see how it goes once teething really starts!)
