Welcome to the TTC a Rainbow Sibling check-in.This check-in is a for TTCAL-ers with living children to talk about the issues about TTCAL while you have a living child. Living children and pictures of living children are welcome here, however if your pictured child is an infant (< a year old), please do place a warning at the beginning of your post to alert ladies who are having a hard day. You do not have to be active on the PAL board in order to be a member of this check-in, however, if you plan on posting on the main board please post an intro there. All are welcome to join us! Please give us an intro with the following information if you wish: name(s)/age(s) of your child(ren), EDD(s) and where you are in your TTC journey. If you get a BFP please send @bookishmomma a private PM so I can add you to our graduates list.
I'm on cycle day 57 after my D&C. Beta from yesterday was 7 and I'm still waiting on AF. So basically I just plan to console myself with wine every night until AF arrives because I'm getting pissed off.
QOTW: The big fireworks show in our city will be Saturday night (it's always the weekend before the 4th), so we have plans to take friends out on our boat. Should be fun. Two of the friends who will be joining us are pregnant. I'll compensate by making myself delicious cocktails.
I guess this ended up sounding a bit ranty/whiny. Maybe it's PMS? That would be nice!
Hey @BookishMomma thanks for the check in! I really hope AF shows soon for you.
This morning I got an almost positive wondfo (I bet it will be positive this afternoon) and for the first time in 3 months I got peak on my CBFM! So glad I made DH sex it up last night I have now entered the "hopeful" stage of my cycle.
QOTW: 4th of July isn't a big deal for us. DH is British so it doesn't mean much for him and growing up my parents usually had to work so it wasn't a big thing. We will probably see a parade and maybe some fireworks at the local amphitheatre.
***Can we please keep rmpar29 and her family in our thoughts/prayers today***

This morning I got an almost positive wondfo (I bet it will be positive this afternoon) and for the first time in 3 months I got peak on my CBFM!
Woot woot! I have a CBFM, too, but haven't used it since before my last loss. I'm glad I didn't even try to use it this cycle, since it's been all kinds of wonky. I plan to reset it and start using it again after I get AF.
sarcaztic10 for the house sale! We just bought our house in December and it was such a pain. Especially when we ended up having to change lenders more than halfway through!
AFM: it is the 2WW! Because of my cycles and not tracking I've never officially encountered this before. Usually I just waited the length of my longest cycle before testing (and then would end up with a new longest cycle). I feel like our timing is the best it was going to be for this cycle so I am just keeping my FX for our little Rainbow. I may test early only because the day I wanted to test (13 DPO) DH and I will be out all day with family and I want it to be a special moment if we get a BFP, or I want time to decompress if it is a BFN. Also, if I get a BFN early I can wait until family is gone to test again if AF doesn't show by then.
That being said, I started getting crampy yesterday and had some mild back pain. I can't say for sure it is anything since I am still doing my abs challenge, so it could likely be from that too. Trying hard not to read into things or I'll want to test earlier than I plan!
I actually remember you from the Dec '14 bmb-my edd for that loss was 12/14/14. Here's hoping we both get on a new bmb soon!
Good luck to all the mamas here!
Thanks for the check-in @BookishMomma! I know AF is going to come so soon, 7 is nothing!!! I'm sending your uterus some encouraging vibes!!
AFM: Life has just been INSANE over the past week. So many end of the school year activities between me and my daughters and of course I decided to sew teacher gifts and a couple other gifts for my friends' daughters who have birthdays this week. I'm sorry I won't have time to respond to everyone this week. We're leaving for our vacation this weekend on one of the Finger Lakes and of course DH is going to be out of town until Sunday so I have to pack everything by myself UGH. At least I've been too busy to stress.
I just hate the last week of the 2WW. Of course I'm so excited and hopeful but also trying to brace myself for the BFN. I plan to test on 7/4 so I can stop my progesterone and get AF in time to fit in one more cycle before an out of town vacation mid August. I really want this to be my lucky cycle, but I have to remind myself that with my IF diagnosis perfect cycles don't mean anything
QOTW: We're renting a cabin on one of the Finger Lakes with our BFF/neighbor friends Saturday-Saturday. I'm looking forward to sun, cocktails, and relaxation!!
IVF #1, Stimmed for 12 days, ER 8/22/14, 9 retrieved, 7M, 7F!! Freeze all due to fluid in uterus.
FET end of October 2014 cancelled due to fluid in uterus due to possible c-scar defect
Surgery scheduled 12/12/14 to fix possible isthmocele
3/26/15 transferred one 8 cell grade 4 embryo and one 6 cell grade 3 embryo = slow rising betas for 2+ weeks = ectopic MTX shot 4/29/15
Repeat c-scar surgery June 2015
2nd and last IVF cycle August 2015, stimmed for 12 days, 2 egg retrieved, both mature and both fertilized. Transferred both 8-cell embryos on Day 3, beta 9/5/15 = BFFN
Sorry this will be a PNR for now since I'm about to go pick DH up from work but I will catch everyone's news tonight. Thanks for doing the check-in @BookishMomma!
My temp went way down today. No spotting yet but I feel AF is either imminent or if I magically get a BFP this cycle it will be another CP. So if AF has not shown up by Monday I will test then but I am already mentally preparing for AF.
QOTW: Hopefully we're getting together with my BFF but I'm not 100% sure on that yet. If not I will probably hit the outlets for some things we need.
I know AF is going to come so soon, 7 is nothing!!! I'm sending your uterus some encouraging vibes!!
@Frenchteachermama I think my ute must have received the vibes because I have some spotting now! FX that it turns into full-fledged AF and not just random spotting like a had a couple of weeks ago.
This week has been... interesting, but I'm holding tough. Started with notice that I'm still in beta hell despite AF and a chart that seems to be normal for me, then DS' teacher asked if I was pregnant because he's been saying he's getting a brother. He didn't know about the pregnancies so this is just creativity he is having a surgery on Monday to fix an umbilical hernia so hopefully, after that next week will be easy/fun.
QOTW: I'm having brunch with some girlfriends on Saturday. Really excited about that!
i just wanted to update that my Clomid is done! I took it CD3-7, and I just got my trigger FedEx today. I have an appointment on Monday at 11 for a follie check, and if I look good, I'll trigger then:) I really think my follies are giant this time because I feel like there are oranges in my lower abdomen LOL! I can't wait to see what is going on in there:) I'm very nervous, and also excited. I have officially started biting my nails again, so I guess this is feeling real again!
@bookishmomma Those betas... X( Did I read that you ended up spotting? Any news on AF yet?!
QOTW: DS is staying with his grandma this weekend so DH and I are kid free, but I already miss him. I think I'm going to go to sleep early tonight! I hope you all have a great weekend.
I apologize for being late, then posting and running. Ward has had an awful virus. I won't go into details... lets just say I had to give him a bath in the sink at a baseball game. He's had a bad fever all weekend but it seems to be going down now. I met with the RE last week. He feels I have nothing to worry about. Easy for him to say! AF came yesterday so we will start RPL testing and I'll have an SIS either Thursday or sometime the following week. He said we could try again this month if we really wanted to, but agreed to start me on Femara in August so I may just wait for that. I'm looking forward to another long weekend at the beach! I hope everyone has a wonderful July 4th weekend.
Thinking of you @bookishmomma (come on AF) @frenchteachermama (stalking you!) @ellebelle2384 (did your temps go back up?! but a negative hpt? what is going onnn?) and everyone else!
Me: 29 DH:30 married 6/5/10
DS: 10/12/12 via ECS (blood clot in umbilical cord)
Aww poor Ward! Hope he feels better soon @goldengirl84! I love your new siggy pic btw. What a cute pup! I know isn't my chart just a mind F right now? This is similar to how my first CPs was (didn't get a positive until a few days late but temps back up and AF late - you can see an overlay on my chart). So if I even end up getting a positive sometime this week I will be freaking out the whole time. I wish this could be so much easier for all of us!
BookishMomma I just looked at your chart, you got a +opk?
Yes. I had +OPKs on Friday and Saturday. The spotting I had last week turned out to be very minor and did not turn into AF... I actually think it was O-related spotting, since it was (TMI alert) just a streak of blood here and there in EWCM. But at least if I O-ed, AF can't be more than a couple of weeks out...
@LittleCookie sorry you're still in beta hell. ((Hugs))
@ellebelle2384 I'm so sorry you're going through all this confusion. Keep us posted, okay?
