Congrats on the ultrasound! I've had the 3D for LO's face. So crazy everything they can see with that machine. Technology is so mind blowing sometimes

Congrats! Not sure my doctor's office offers 3D ultrasound- at least never heard they do - is this something you had to ask for specially? I don't think I do anymore ultrasounds anyway unless there are problems.

Congrats. My doctor doesn't do them. Which sucks. If I want a 3d image I need to pay to go to a boutique style ultrasound place.

Oh congrats! We have one scheduled for 27 weeks ( 2 weeks from Saturday) I can't wait to see the baby! I have heard its a great experience and nice to have the photo

We had a 3D ultrasound at our A/S which was around 17 weeks so it was really hard to get any kind of good picture. I have another scan at around 32 weeks to check on my placenta position. Hopefully we'll get to see LO's adorable face at that one.

I think we're lucky because we get 3D ones every ultrasound. For our anatomy scan we got a 4d one too. I wonder if I'll get another one at 28 weeks.

My DH and I had been debating for a LONG time whether to get a 3D ultrasound and at my OB's not having any huge concerns with it, we are going to get one next week. I will be 25 weeks, 3 days at that point...we will be inviting my parents and my paternal grandpa. I am excited for the experience, though I don't know what to expect in the views! I know it's silly, but I kind of wanted to do the 3D ultrasound because even though the 20 week A/S indicated that it's a girl, SO many people have been offering their unsolicited opinion that it's a boy and it just made me want to have confirmation.

I agree with OP's desire to have the photos to look at for the remainder of the pregnancy!
